<p>Netflix has stirred up a lot of noise lately.</p>
<p>1. Netflix has enter the International market. You thought it is good, but end up you get a lousy collection of movies/TV shows. According to news paper reporting, you get only 10-15% of the US library. That is because there are many movies and TV shows has copyright, and Netflix simply cannot bring it to outside of US.</p>
<p>2. Netflix has vowed to stop non-US location to get their US movie library thru VPN. So, they are going to crack it down so that you, who is located in Singapore subscribe to watch “Singapore-version” of Netflix.</p>
<p>My friends asked me what am I watching nowadays.</p>
<p>I told them, I am watching the latest US TV series thru using the Hulu App on</p>
<p>1. Apple TV</p>
<p>2. Amazon Fire TV.</p>
<p>3. iPhone / iPad / iPad Pro</p>
<p><strong>I love Hulu more than Netflix!</strong></p>
<p><img title="IMG_1640.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pwzLCCLhNBg/VsHV03bPHJI/AAAAAAAApN0/zhXRAOsFq9A/IMG_1640.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1640" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I used to hate Hulu.</p>
<p>I hated it so much that I refuse to watch anything on Hulu.</p>
<p>Because last time, to watch their show, you are forced to see their advertisement. </p>
<p>And oh boy, their advertisement are really long.</p>
<p>Just as you thought you have finished watching the advertisement, there are more advertisement in a show. About 4-5 advertisement.</p>
<p>Recently, they have come up a “No Commercials” version.</p>
<p>Paying another US$4.00 more. (US$11.99 per month instead of US$7.99 per month).</p>
<p>And after I have changed my subscription, I love Hulu. </p>
<p>With Hulu, you don’t need to download from Torrent anymore. It is the right way!</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-15 at 9.41.27 PM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LHc1tBuFOLQ/VsHXOGplnBI/AAAAAAAApOA/XHwSxtrFDr8/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-15%252520at%2525209.41.27%252520PM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 15 at 9 41 27 PM" width="720" height="392" border="0" /></p>
<p>Hulu is competitor to Netflix.</p>
<p>Hulu is joint venture or joint investment from some major TV powerhouse in US. All these network work together on a single platform to give you the latest TV shows.</p>
<p>All shows are latest. You can’t get these from Netflix sometimes.</p>
<p>As it is somethings exclusive on a certain Network, such as Fox, ABC, etc.</p>
<p>Let me show you what I am watching, then you know why I love Hulu so much.</p>
<p>[Caution!!] You need a VPN to watch Hulu. If you subscribe to ViewQwest with Freedom VPN or other equivalent from other ISP, then, you are all set. Subscribing to Hulu should be easy, once you are in Geo Lock unlock environment, you can access to the Hulu sign up page. There, you simply key in your credit card (without even change the ZIP code, you can place your Singapore credit card there.</p>

<p>When it comes to wine opener, you can have a slow wine opener, those traditional type with a screw to screw the cork out.</p>
<p>Or you can use this. I bought this from Mediya’s Wine shop. </p>
<p>It is advertised as “The Ultimate Wine Opener”.</p>
<p>It is called Cork POPS Legacy.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1343.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-C0ncLWGAQMY/Vr6wxiiqIvI/AAAAAAAApMw/u8lhVVSWNgo/IMG_1343.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1343" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>It looks like this. </p>
<p>It comes with cutter to remove the foil.</p>
<p>It has long pin at the middle to poke thru the cork.</p>
<p>And a gas bottle to pump air into the pin and thus into the bottle.</p>
<p>The theory is to pump air inside the bottle to push the cork out.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1346.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ojY5F1vGfe4/Vr6xOsGm6JI/AAAAAAAApM0/17UQNGOnqZc/IMG_1346.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1346" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>The cutter and the needle pin.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1347.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TrnTXmqQXhA/Vr6xqw2R37I/AAAAAAAApM8/ND3xfWminUk/IMG_1347.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1347" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>The compress air can. Pressing it will pump gas into the bottle.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1350.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EbL9ghmvZxs/Vr6yYTh1AFI/AAAAAAAApNE/a2XuPCzZSs8/IMG_1350.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1350" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>It is easy to use.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1344.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P1Yu5FGiOFM/Vr6ynBbo06I/AAAAAAAApNM/JXyeNaAsKCM/IMG_1344.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1344" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Yeap, the cork pops out in less than a second. No need to use any strength.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1345.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0RPTUlJNBpY/Vr6yqyM2TkI/AAAAAAAApNQ/h3YiSEr2e3Q/IMG_1345.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1345" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, you turn anti-clockwise to slowly push the cork out.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_1352.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SYz5G_oInjs/Vr6z3cdScxI/AAAAAAAApNg/xFbXSjQzHus/IMG_1352.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 1352" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here is the video how I open the wine using the Legacy. Cool, right?</p>

<p>Thank you my friend, Larry who brought me here two days ago to eat my first bowl of authentic bak chor mee cooked by Japanese’s father and daughter and a young helper.</p>
<p>So, today, after I finished doing my CNY wet marketing for CNY reunion dinner, Instead of eating at Tiong Bahru, we drove to Block 710 Clementi West Street 2, Weng Kwang Coffee House. Here, at Ah Hoe Mee Pok, me and my wife eats the nice bak chor mee.</p>
<p>This Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle is only $4.00 per bowl. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_0345.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AcZ3clM89uM/VrP5udKanCI/AAAAAAAApHY/hcFmrB1CXhA/IMG_0345.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0345" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is the one that is on the news on New Straight Times, where the Japanese father and daughter took over Ah Hoe Mee Pok and selling the Bak Chor Mee.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-05 at 9.17.41 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-srvw8Z29EXo/VrP5-Kxv8NI/AAAAAAAApHc/qpYgd8KZ06c/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-05%252520at%2525209.17.41%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 05 at 9 17 41 AM" width="720" height="522" border="0" /></p>
<p>The price is OK, not so expensive. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_0342.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4kygSfzJ8rc/VrP7BdGyQjI/AAAAAAAApHo/zpCGmjFAwhE/IMG_0342.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0342" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>The prawn although looks small, is sweet, fresh and cook correctly (煮得刚刚好), the timing of the cooking is correct that is why the prawn is quite nice. $4 you can 1 prawn. $5 bowl you can more meat plus 2x prawns.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0346.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xL9l3wrJiSk/VrP7K94rCWI/AAAAAAAApHw/7WArUwS6BXg/IMG_0346.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0346" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>I love their meat. Very tasty. Not sure how they do it, but very tasty and tender.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0348.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-HRNQGx3Gchs/VrP7gqtJE7I/AAAAAAAApH0/aLfzH0Gzyd8/IMG_0348.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0348" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I love their pork lard. The cut it thin for every piece, and seems to fried it to golden crispy. Love it! When you eat it not so sinful. Hahahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0349.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EhMhzCFdN4w/VrP7r2BEQLI/AAAAAAAApH4/w4XD86o4xWw/IMG_0349.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0349" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I also order a bowl of meat ball soup for $3. Nice, especially they put the pork lard in. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_0347.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-rJjgOToZcWI/VrP8DziV7XI/AAAAAAAApIA/Oal9EV7eyoU/IMG_0347.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0347" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Oh ya. The daughter and father and family stay in Park West. So, I am their neighbour. </p>
<p>This is their address of the Ah Hoe Mee Pok. I will go back and eat again and again. Just like the Penang restaurant near by, the Japanese restaurant at Faber heights there, and of course Cassa Croutes at Park West by Chef Patrick. These are my favourites makan place near by my house. Not forget to mention the Curry Fish head at West Coast Plaza, i.e Cozy.</p>

<p>NTUC Home Service Hotline: <strong style="font-size: 32px;">6788-8788</strong></p>
<p>Thank you my friend Chester for recommending me this.</p>
<p>This is a handy number that every one should keep at home.</p>
<p>If you have any problem with the electrical system at home, normally you will call the contractor and hope his electrician is around to help you to fix the problem.</p>
<p>But, so close to Chinese New Year, you might have problem finding one.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0243.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-INvJr6kaiIQ/VrAVgu2_u3I/AAAAAAAApGA/AiYGJa3ieT8/IMG_0243.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0243" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, we picked up the phone and call.</p>
<p>You don’t need to be a NTUC member to call this number. Anyone can call. And it has 90-day warranty, whatever it means.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-02 at 10.34.55 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TZs6JFAJOtE/VrAV6vPPIzI/AAAAAAAApGI/JskhB45GPo0/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-02%252520at%25252010.34.55%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 02 at 10 34 55 AM" width="720" height="295" border="0" /></p>
<p>They are like superman. They will fix every thing for you. Of course supplied by different vendors.</p>
<p>Look at their whole list.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-02 at 10.35.03 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xNqBbXc9Vuc/VrAWMQaBfcI/AAAAAAAApGQ/97H8L4m23TM/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-02%252520at%25252010.35.03%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 02 at 10 35 03 AM" width="720" height="610" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, yesterday my wife called the number.</p>
<p>Our electrical ON-Off switch is spoiled. She bought a new one from Hardware store for $7.90.</p>
<p>The hotline says it is very close to Chinese New Year so it may takes some time to find. 30 minutes later, a guy called and says he can make it on 9:30am the next day.</p>
<p>And the guy came to fix and replace it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0236.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2xtQB6u-lHA/VrAWle1nqDI/AAAAAAAApGY/vsXHkaEjkMg/IMG_0236.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0236" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>At one point, the screw holder was broken, so, he went downstairs to take his drill. And make a new hole.</p>
<p>Spent about 20 minutes and he got it replaced.</p>
<p>Nice and new.</p>
<p>Good workmenship.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0242.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KGkNhXtNT2g/VrAW6EQxjpI/AAAAAAAApGg/bEVnBb7CUa0/IMG_0242.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0242" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>And the charges are $43. Wow! That is cheap.</p>
<p>The workmanship is $25 and the transport is $18.</p>
<p>And this is a company from High Land Electrical Co at North Bridge Rd.</p>
<p>My wife called to Brighthouse to ask for assistant, they quoted $75 without material. </p>
<p>So you compare, the service from vendors of NTUC Home Service is nice!</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0237.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3uhxgkvbJCw/VrAXP0pC03I/AAAAAAAApGo/JW5KRiuIh8Y/IMG_0237.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0237" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>And the transport fee tariff is published. So, they cannot over charge you.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-02 at 10.32.56 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-rksyRhdZhOU/VrAX0iSOlCI/AAAAAAAApG4/oIKrkjSt_Mg/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-02%252520at%25252010.32.56%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 02 at 10 32 56 AM" width="720" height="1022" border="0" /></p>
<p> </p>
<p>This is the first page of their practise notes.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-02 at 10.44.50 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RqTbzZ6eHuU/VrAYQHUovJI/AAAAAAAApHE/OknAgdgXIJA/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-02%252520at%25252010.44.50%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 02 at 10 44 50 AM" width="720" height="1005" border="0" /></p>
<p>Happy customer.</p>

<p>We set up an aquaponics systems at home to grow vegetables. After few weeks, the plants is not greenish. In fact a bit of yellowish green, towards pale whitey green. That is because my balcony does not have enough sunlights. I would think there is only 20-30% of the sunlights are able to penetrate into that area.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0205.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kpe0tPLJuvQ/Vq6nsnRiMzI/AAAAAAAApDI/25EUHxppRg8/IMG_0205.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0205" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Not to worry when you have Taobao. So, she immediately placed an order thru our Taobao buying agent, i.e. Amy (cinagoods@hotmail.com)</p>
<p><a href="http://world.tmall.com/item/520664511954.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.4.Irv8Su&id=520664511954&cm_id=140105335569ed55e27b&abbucket=1&skuId=3130490870223">http://world.tmall.com/item/520664511954.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.4.Irv8Su&id=520664511954&cm_id=140105335569ed55e27b&abbucket=1&skuId=3130490870223</a></p>
<p><em>(please note, we don’t sell things on Taobao. I only tell you what we do, we bought from Taobao thru our buying agent. So, please do not sent mail to me to ask me to buy! Thanks!)</em></p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 8.44.01 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xW0Ti60yB5k/Vq6qac4LVbI/AAAAAAAApDk/u4pl7B442wA/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-01%252520at%2525208.44.01%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 01 at 8 44 01 AM" width="720" height="669" border="0" /></p>
<p>For information about our Aquaponics setup, please visit my previous blog post.</p>
<p><a href="http://miniliew.blogspot.sg/2015/12/garden-notes-aquaponics.html">http://miniliew.blogspot.sg/2015/12/garden-notes-aquaponics.html</a></p>
<p>To me, I called it “Adding Light Sabers into Aquaponics!”</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0221.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oSEETZC1JsQ/Vq6qP9HiI5I/AAAAAAAApDc/mt8BnaHR3vY/IMG_0221.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0221" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>We will now provide enough sunlights for the veggie to grow. Let’s see how it goes.</p>
<p>Adding 3 light savers here.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0209.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uKu6g66IFhQ/Vq6qr8Vf74I/AAAAAAAApDs/8wLnOOL4erQ/IMG_0209.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0209" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Hope these lights bring happiness to the greens and produce good harvest.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0211.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Lh-bwrSjDKI/Vq6q9I7HQBI/AAAAAAAApD0/ZwwLf9o6lTM/IMG_0211.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0211" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Bigger tank is added. More fish will be added.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0217.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bx6tQ6NWY0Q/Vq6rRelEGgI/AAAAAAAApD8/LSye5N3sVBo/IMG_0217.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0217" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>And hopefully by next month we have better and bigger greens.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0207.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-dIweGf1U7zY/Vq6rZ0Yxq6I/AAAAAAAApEE/bGi5o1aNOK8/IMG_0207.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0207" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here are some of the marketing info on the LED lights we have purchased.</p>

<p>90% of the lights emitted from this light will be absorbed by the plants for photosynthesis.</p>
<p>Can work 30000 hours to 50000 hours. About 3 to 5 years.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 8.51.01 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ROadlKW0SFQ/Vq6sDVZ8UDI/AAAAAAAApEc/gvHrgPPNW0o/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-01%252520at%2525208.51.01%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 01 at 8 51 01 AM" width="720" height="658" border="0" /></p>
<p>We bought to 0.9 meter one (15W)</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 8.53.22 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-di9ZYep7HQM/Vq6sk2qlSTI/AAAAAAAApEk/Qy9dMO1fxrg/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-01%252520at%2525208.53.22%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 01 at 8 53 22 AM" width="720" height="567" border="0" /></p>
<p>I think we bought the veggie lights. With the red-blue ratio of 3:1 or 4:1 or 5:1.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 8.54.09 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LpjShcTBJ88/Vq6syS7pyDI/AAAAAAAApEs/ioHWgRYHci4/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-01%252520at%2525208.54.09%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 01 at 8 54 09 AM" width="720" height="459" border="0" /></p>
<p>Different spectrum of lights are suitable for different types of plants.</p>

<p>Without sunlights, this could happen to your plants.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 8.57.00 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KUMV4XkngAE/Vq6tf8yw6_I/AAAAAAAApFE/sQCOa5M8N5c/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-02-01%252520at%2525208.57.00%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 02 01 at 8 57 00 AM" width="720" height="554" border="0" /></p>

<p>Children need to be given duties at home. Even if you have a domestic helper, you should assign your child something to do or to help with.</p>
<p>Teach them how to make Ice Cream (without using the Ice Cream maker)</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9534.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-11bZf1DIEcg/VqbNxe0yyVI/AAAAAAAAo_0/V0Y3j2-cNdk/IMG_9534.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9534" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Make their hands dirty.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9287.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AHy7qEQdsME/VqbN_HTjAAI/AAAAAAAAo_8/mLNaYJByzxk/IMG_9287.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9287" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Their job can be as simple as taking a scissors and cut the home made macaroni.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9650.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1aZuXej9mrw/VqbOMw9NPoI/AAAAAAAApAE/O6Pm8YzZgBU/IMG_9650.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9650" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Instead of letting them watch TV or play games by themselves. </p>
<p>Make them do work.</p>
<p>Hey, see what Kay Kay has prepared for the playdate dinner. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_9651 (1).jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JIb8I0RMvQk/VqbObGhfpzI/AAAAAAAApAM/wtg-ngLB1_c/IMG_9651%252520%2525281%252529.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9651 1" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is the great age to assign them to do things. Even playdates can help out.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9693.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-otcPoxaLx70/VqbOy2ghUuI/AAAAAAAApAU/_2hyv02oOkY/IMG_9693.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9693" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Simple task like decorating the CNY decors.</p>
<p>This is a job for children. Not a job for domestic helper.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9698.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1iepH17ibAg/VqbO98x1i0I/AAAAAAAApAc/1-SkFacBlbg/IMG_9698.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9698" width="720" height="960" border="0" />\</p>
<p>Kids will be happy to decorating the house.</p>
<p>They feel a strong sense of ownership of our home.</p>
<p>The make the home looks lively.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9709.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uMQWVfHa_28/VqbPL_pFAlI/AAAAAAAApAk/zK5FGdStxss/IMG_9709.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9709" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>At the end of the day, lazy parents will clap their hands and say Thank You!</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9716.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Ey2By1aIrOw/VqbPZx6SqnI/AAAAAAAApAs/DVv4fSpLW_w/IMG_9716.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9716" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>During weekend. It will be this fellow job to prepare breakfast.</p>
<p>See he just wake up. His hair still standing.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9731.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zikjac-G4tM/VqbQL-IwXHI/AAAAAAAApA4/Jsj07YRnjcg/IMG_9731.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9731" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Don’t be afraid to make him fry eggs.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9733.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h-G7-upXZss/VqbQbRZNERI/AAAAAAAApBA/wS6Qha39hGI/IMG_9733.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9733" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>It is the most easy task. You know after he mastered this skill. He can cook his lunch next time. hahahaha</p>
<p>Cook rice, cook egg, put a bit of soya sauce, and that’s it. </p>
<p>Of course, thru out the time, he will learn more dishes.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9734.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NbluG354VPs/VqbQjC9TP8I/AAAAAAAApBI/8orwtbhYASM/IMG_9734.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9734" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is the Sunny Side Up he make for all of us.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9735.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FIHvlCTWVQo/VqbQzxLf41I/AAAAAAAApBQ/xqCVLpPBV_8/IMG_9735.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9735" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>And then, he will set the table and call all of us to come and eat.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9738.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kM7pNzFkS2U/VqbQ9Sx4c0I/AAAAAAAApBY/NzAKGzHl78c/IMG_9738.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9738" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Although it is simple meal. </p>
<p>But this meal is prepared by my son. </p>
<p>And he is only 10 years old.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9741.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wGxflq-tGxw/VqbRM_nr7TI/AAAAAAAApBg/ixx8H10A-ns/IMG_9741.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9741" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This week. My Sunday breakfast. Of course, Cucumber not cut by him. He still need some time to handle knife.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9740 (1).jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_tpHhcd8xh0/VqbRW7TA2lI/AAAAAAAApBo/CCQD8GM4qp8/IMG_9740%252520%2525281%252529.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9740 1" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This was last week one. With home grown cabbage.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9502.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XXCM_f0i34A/VqbRfFhkTRI/AAAAAAAApBw/KejSl_v1fPc/IMG_9502.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9502" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Three weeks ago. He tries his first ever scramble egg.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8279.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DjoZO4RfmHw/VqbRy4-MuSI/AAAAAAAApB4/-NckrlYViEM/IMG_8279.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8279" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is his very first attempt. Which is 3 weeks ago too.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8263.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7n2PXMEKid4/VqbR73KzW8I/AAAAAAAApCA/vsPVGBJhVs4/IMG_8263.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8263" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Some times ago, he also prepare these. We prepare and cut the beef for him he just cook with everything in it. Watch the fire, and that’s it. </p>
<p>He felt so proud.</p>
<p>(The beef curry is a bit hard, I think control of fire not so accurate. But still edible. Next day, mommy cook another 1 hour to make the meet soft)</p>
<p>(Stif fry beef is nice)</p>
<p>(Tofu is simple)</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8257.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9nEyJG3aIw8/VqbSEq5EzEI/AAAAAAAApCI/oT0pKcUc1YM/IMG_8257.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8257" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>

<p>He make these cookies. As you can see, not all cookie the same size.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9799.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Fc7kICTExaA/VqbSwKVIUrI/AAAAAAAApCY/jZ4x5PD8doU/IMG_9799.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9799" width="720" height="900" border="0" /></p>

<p>Kids in Primary School is different from kids in Kindergarten.</p>
<p>For example, Kay Kay in P1 has a lot of time in the afternoon. We have to figure out a way to help him fill up the time.</p>
<p>We have to find a way to teach Kay Kay to be self- discipline too.</p>
<p>So, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>To-Do Check List</strong></span> become an important part of Kay Kay. </p>
<p>We enrolled some enrichment class such as CMA (Abacus & Mental Calculations) and BrainFit (Focus learning and languages), both aren’t exactly MOE related courses. There are homework, and some e-learning resources. </p>
<p>So, let’s take a look at Kay Kay’s first ever to-do list.</p>
<p>1. We requested him to do his CMA homework. </p>
<p>2. We requested him to do his day to day Braind Fit exercise on the Computer.</p>
<p>3. Of course, if they perform the tasks well, they can play board game or ii (another word of iPad in the house).</p>
<p>4. Telling him when will we be in bed.</p>
<p>Once done, place a tick beside.</p>
<p>So, we going to do this every day. And we are going to put in more E-Learning resources, Weekly Spelling and 听写 self-learning. Even reading story book too. As he is still P1. So, let him play Lego, or any of his toys. I also bought a Lego Wedo Robotics for him, and he will get to make robots every day too. I also have a keyboard typing lesson in place.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9149.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8TyZ7slGQJY/Vpw0TkjOu6I/AAAAAAAAo48/8Pi51jeXRVA/IMG_9149.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9149" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>We started with Jay Jay too back in 2013. And it has done a good job. By P2, he no longer need the To-Do list. He will calculate all this time in a day, and plan his day to do the home work. We are so glad that Jay even do his home work at school so that he can come home and attend those extra sports classes that he likes.</p>
<p>So, on this first week of school week, we did the to-do list for Jay Jay as well just to SHOW kay kay how much work his brother has to do.</p>
<p>So that Kay Kay can appreciate that his to-do list is not so scary. Hahahahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9120.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EaMJIhQogSg/Vpw2d-l33tI/AAAAAAAAo5I/R0_dt60PWLY/IMG_9120.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9120" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>There are a lot of E-learning resources. For example the school provided MC Online for the kids. And the students can learn English, Math and Chinese from it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9243.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-CENi21M-XZs/Vpw4Wg1AgEI/AAAAAAAAo5U/k_lStqgcA1Y/IMG_9243.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9243" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Oh ya, first of all, I must declare, I don’t play games on my PC. So the children don’t see daddy or mommy play games on PC be it iMac or Windows PC.</p>
<p>I very seldom play games in from of my kids.</p>
<p>As I know Monkey See Monkey Do.</p>
<p>I do play games on iPad. But only when I am together with them. We played together.</p>
<p>I do play games on my TV either on Apple TV or Amazon Fire TV or even Xbox or Wii. </p>
<p>But during schooling time, we don’t play TV Console games at all. Only play the TV Console games when we have guests.</p>
<p>Also, I don’t watch Youtube in front of the kids too.</p>
<p>In fact, when the kids is around, I seldom use my iPhone too. Only use it as taking photo or some messages arrived.</p>
<p>There is a purpose of doing so.</p>
<p>I want my kids to know and understand the following…</p>
<p>1) PC / Computer is for work, and it is not for gaming.</p>
<p>2) Mobile phones is for work, phone and messaging and as a camera.</p>
<p>3) iPad is for Games as well as learning tool.</p>
<p>4) In this house, if the kid ask for playing iPad they will get caned. (no joke). They cannot even mentioned the name “iPad”. So, they invented another name for it, namely “ii”. But they know if they behaves well, they done what parents ask them to do, they are rewarded with “iPad” time.</p>
<p>Rewarding systems is very important. I reward them by taking them out, by letting them play iPad, by buying lots of toys they loved. Most importantly they have to become a self-motivated kid who knows how to do homework, and know study is important to them. That is what I need especially for a family that has both daddy and mommy working.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9261.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MP06ztoQWkE/Vpw6xe4VIQI/AAAAAAAAo5g/7KhxQGU_AUo/IMG_9261.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9261" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Expose them to so many things so that they sometimes will say “Daddy, I don’t want to play ii (iPad) can you teach me Ukulele?”</p>
<p>or “Daddy, I don’t want to play ii (iPad), can you play Otello with me, I just learned this game by watching other people play in school today.”</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9322 (1).jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sRhSQ84adZ4/Vpw7KB4CTXI/AAAAAAAAo5o/GiLip2YHERM/IMG_9322%252520%2525281%252529.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9322 1" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>A kids who cares and willing to help parents to do work in the garden.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9284.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EXD-H2tO_ac/Vpw7gCHnXzI/AAAAAAAAo5w/zC30mtQr_uY/IMG_9284.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9284" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>A kids who really know how to survive when they grow up, not scare of worms and able to pick up the 锄头.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9287.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WqVj9_T1pOM/Vpw7pNiYfdI/AAAAAAAAo54/5C4Z5roCu6k/IMG_9287.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9287" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Let’s get back to the E-Learning platform the school has for the kid.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9244.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-r6utX0A9y98/Vpw8AingwiI/AAAAAAAAo6A/k7O8l_tiUq8/IMG_9244.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9244" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I am teaching him that E-learning on MC Online is not only see and learn. You got to keep notes. </p>
<p>Yeah! I make no mistake now. I didn’t teach Jay Jay well enough during his P1 days. </p>
<p>For Kay Kay, I am not taking any chances especially in building his learning skills during P1 time.</p>
<p>So, I taught him that he needs to start keeping notes. So that he can refer to the notes from time to time.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9244 (1).jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uOcU-vId9Nw/Vpw8LpCgu5I/AAAAAAAAo6I/uocBzBS9uaM/IMG_9244%252520%2525281%252529.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9244 1" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I think he did great in here. And at the same time, he can choose to learn the vocabs or wait until later.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9242.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_Jjq_ahsxNE/Vpw8mEs_gXI/AAAAAAAAo6Q/iOGqlqyYWEw/IMG_9242.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9242" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Penmanship is very important too.</p>
<p>I teach him to write down notes so that he can write correctly, write faster.</p>
<p>I didn’t pay so much attention while Jay Jay in P1. But I do realised that Jay was a bit weak with his penmanship last time. </p>
<p>So, again, whatever mistakes we make before shall not happen to this new kid in P1. How fortunate. </p>
<p>Kay Kay has been taking his Brain Fit E-lessons or Games for almost a year. So he is very familiar with this sort of E-learning platform.</p>
<p>And he likes it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9242.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AovTniZ8t1c/Vpw9SEueXMI/AAAAAAAAo6Y/emWEyqr0Btk/IMG_9242.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9242" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Next is the typewriting.</p>
<p>Strange enough that the school do not have lessons to teach kids how to type.</p>
<p>The biggest mistakes I think from MOE.</p>
<p>They introduce E-Learning and without introducing Keyboard typewriting.</p>
<p>How many times I see kids struggle in this.</p>
<p>And how many times I see kids use two fingers to type and they sure can type very fast with two fingers.</p>
<p>But unfortunately, that’s wrong.</p>
<p>So for my kids, they will get proper type writing learning programs.</p>
<p>This is what I bought for both Jay (Windows 10) and Kay (iMac).</p>
<p>I found it pretty cool to learn it the kids way.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-01-18 at 9.23.55 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cxODfFj-KVA/Vpw-v19GBZI/AAAAAAAAo6k/d6-TSIO0t9s/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-01-18%252520at%2525209.23.55%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 01 18 at 9 23 55 AM" width="605" height="679" border="0" /></p>
<p>It trains them concentration. Focus.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9253.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IhUWJHUQQl4/Vpw_HvKWpqI/AAAAAAAAo6s/-Yh7IS5DTzc/IMG_9253.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9253" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>They must place their fingers correctly on to the keyboard.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9256.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wpgdLXkjeDI/Vpw_ONwK1LI/AAAAAAAAo60/FnMQ6ZLZxmw/IMG_9256.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9256" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>The aim is to increase their WPM (Word per minute) and the Accuracy.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9255.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--kA-Z6cScvw/Vpw_VZYBIzI/AAAAAAAAo68/I_4NWfrJLAQ/IMG_9255.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9255" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>There are different types of games they can play too. By all to do with typing.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9496.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fwPgDr6c1ZQ/Vpw_mlZCW2I/AAAAAAAAo7E/3g65Rvqwsps/IMG_9496.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9496" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>The two brothers some time can compete with each other too.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9491.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xBynjVYqkqY/Vpw_v5wYI6I/AAAAAAAAo7M/aw-NRnG04W4/IMG_9491.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9491" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So I really hope that both of them can learn the typing well. Because after that, learning how to do simple programming will be the next steps.</p>
<p>See how I am going to turn them into Computer nerds. hahahahaha</p>
<p>I am so glad to see how Jay Jay has learned how to use the flash cards to learn his spelling. hahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9497.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MWSrmHi_n5U/VpxAKFMCiyI/AAAAAAAAo7U/FrRJX03qk0k/IMG_9497.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9497" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Kay Kay felt excited to learn the Chinese on MC Online platform.</p>
<p>Hey, do you notice it? The fingers.</p>
<p>Yeah, ten fingers on the keyboard. The correct way of typing. hahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9505.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PYrjbIuympQ/VpxAU7gUsBI/AAAAAAAAo7c/1G6kl7LdMY4/IMG_9505.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9505" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Good luck in teaching your kids. </p>
<p>May the force be with you!</p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1975866364292781573.post-84618617197790414212016-01-17T11:26:00.001+08:002016-01-17T11:26:45.381+08:00Smart Nation Goal - Robotics Kids<p>Date: Jan 19, 2016</p>
<p>Programming is to learn how to solve problem.</p>
<p>I strongly believe that if the kids can learn how to solve problem thru Robotics, he should be able to solve problems in a structured manner.</p>
<p>Anyway the government wanted the nation to become a smart nation, so, kids will have to learn how to program from young.</p>
<p>So last school holidays, I sent him to two Robotics camp.</p>
<p>This is Kay Kay with his exoskeleton amor programming using the EV3.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6389.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WwpLlCK9qdw/Vpo9tDO1xaI/AAAAAAAAo3o/CtNVlj5DX8U/IMG_6389.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6389" width="336" height="499" border="0" /></p>
<p>Of course, he went to the camp together with his brother Jay Jay.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6391.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-svDRV5X6O4o/Vpo9-W8R18I/AAAAAAAAo3w/xPP-caliwSc/IMG_6391.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6391" width="720" height="770" border="0" /></p>
<p>They learned how to do team work and build the rocket ship.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6385.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JPlJ9peTOKQ/Vpo-L2qZksI/AAAAAAAAo4A/wD16dl0c9N4/IMG_6385.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6385" width="500" height="380" border="0" /></p>
<p>And all of them completed the Space Invention Camp. This is Jay’s 3rd Space Camp. And it is Kay’s first one.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6383.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ygORpTc5a_k/Vpo-He6MdCI/AAAAAAAAo34/ol_QGYjV4kQ/IMG_6383.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6383" width="600" height="496" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, when we come back from our vacation, we sent both kids to Lego Vs. Minecraft Robotics Camp.</p>
<p>Kay Kay learned how to program the Wedo robotics kids from Lego. He is still young and he needs to go thru sometime to learn the concepts of programming using the Wedo. He looks very happy!</p>
<p><img title="1935402_981456151889878_4038809488353242609_n.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-tiUHNkqoNww/Vpo-nioaupI/AAAAAAAAo4I/9aY1n4KvXiQ/1935402_981456151889878_4038809488353242609_n.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="1935402 981456151889878 4038809488353242609 n" width="282" height="500" border="0" /></p>
<p>And his brother Jay will be programming the EV3.</p>
<p><img title="1157400_981456671889826_1231474665527985754_n.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-lgvn7gu3u_g/Vpo_YjELTqI/AAAAAAAAo4k/UuWzyEwFVII/1157400_981456671889826_1231474665527985754_n.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="1157400 981456671889826 1231474665527985754 n" width="281" height="500" border="0" /></p>
<p>And he completed the course.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7830.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YHvhyydMxa0/Vpo_NNA_bXI/AAAAAAAAo4c/jCi_eKwz1Bw/IMG_7830.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7830" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>All very happy learning how to program using Lego.</p>
<p><img title="1045084_981456741889819_9153693959357043114_n-2.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-31dd1Z24l30/Vpo_HVe6SVI/AAAAAAAAo4Q/EZujtHExf0k/1045084_981456741889819_9153693959357043114_n-2.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="1045084 981456741889819 9153693959357043114 n 2" width="700" height="421" border="0" /></p>
<p>This year, I finally managed to sent Kay Kay to WondersWork Robotics class.</p>
<p>He is the one who ask for it. And we let him learn.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9216.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-UlJnakpzLtM/Vpo7104jtSI/AAAAAAAAo3U/yXGrHleVRrI/IMG_9216.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9216" width="720" height="405" border="0" /></p>
<p>He is actually learning Robotics lesson together with his brother Jay and Jay’s friend, Riyandi & Conrad.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9485.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4F1Zrb6D2nQ/Vpo9Cdx21XI/AAAAAAAAo3g/k8iaB-QLSyo/IMG_9485.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9485" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is his robot dancer project when the sensor detected movement, the arms will move.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/152038127?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1975866364292781573.post-8807910700567134322016-01-16T20:25:00.001+08:002016-01-16T20:25:34.857+08:002016 Target - Self Learning<p>Date: Jan 16, 2016</p>
<p>In school, teacher’s job is to teach the students knowledge.</p>
<p>At home, I think parent’s job is to teach the kid to become independent.</p>
<p>Yeah! No longer I need to produce the flash card for Jay Jay.</p>
<p>Starting this year, he has to do his own flash cards.</p>
<p>Me and him agreed that flash cards for learning Chinese is useful.</p>
<p>So, this year, we are going to continue using this method not only to learn Chinese, he will write down study notes for Science and English on the flash cards too.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9422.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-t8kE2W9o2Ng/VpowSRACzOI/AAAAAAAAo2M/xGzflmJ81pY/IMG_9422.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9422" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>At the same time, I can teach him penmanship. Like write the Chinese word in the centre. </p>
<p>Use the Chinese brush to write.</p>
<p>Slowly increase the strength on the strokes.</p>
<p>This kind of opportunity is very rare and I felt I need Jay Jay to learn it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9423.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LruSNDl_m_c/VpoxFt-s3vI/AAAAAAAAo2U/17HQyYKAgec/IMG_9423.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9423" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>For the Chinese one is very simple. Simply write down the 必读字 and 笔写字 from the text book. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_9424.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Lf7_gp3gE44/Vpoxq-NINzI/AAAAAAAAo2c/_dE8B52mqlI/IMG_9424.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9424" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I also made Kay Kay to stick around to see what his brother is learning and doing. The same thing will apply to him 2-3 years later.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9430.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kbggl0YU7Ok/VpoyD2JYPUI/AAAAAAAAo2k/91nh9l9vbNE/IMG_9430.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9430" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>I also have a chance to teach him all other things. Such as</p>
<p>大西洋, 太平洋, 印度洋, etc. Some of the Oceans names.</p>
<p>航海 VS 航空. Where can you use some of the characters.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9435.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-j7NC93CC6Ls/VpozlVsHzvI/AAAAAAAAo2w/Ew0lpYQSerg/IMG_9435.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9435" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>His spelling list. One of the benefit is you can always bring out the cards again to revise. Instead of looking at the boring spelling list paper. </p>
<p>You can shuffle the cards so you always have a different orders of the spelling list.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9497.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P01pL5i6spk/Vpo0YHphu7I/AAAAAAAAo24/BP9a3cNaVBg/IMG_9497.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9497" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>He further improve this. By writing another card that has words he first time learned and can’t remember. (the yellow one).</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9499.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6AkpulR5y5s/Vpo12NOTYxI/AAAAAAAAo3E/wWIDMWkRhVs/IMG_9499.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9499" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, he is now learning more and more self learning tools to make him learn things on his own at his own pace.</p>
<p>So far we are very please with his own self learning ability. We don’t have to tell him what to do, he will finish his homework promptly without reminding him.</p>
<p>He is actually very proud of this. :)</p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1975866364292781573.post-58065205591512501412016-01-14T17:31:00.001+08:002016-01-14T17:31:51.336+08:00The Mighty Duct Tape (Speed Tape)<p>Date: Jan 14, 2015</p>
<p>It is often mistaken as a “duct tape”. But it looks very shinny. </p>
<p>Yesterday, we came home on this Jetstar plane. And to our surprise, we saw this!</p>
<p>Duct tape!</p>
<p>For don’t know what reason, Jetstar actually uses the duct tape to path the engine/turbine together. Seems like it.</p>
<p>Indeed looks very very scary.</p>
<p>But we arrived home from Hong Kong to Singapore safely.</p>
<p>The ride is very smooth. Should we thank the duct tape?</p>
<p><img title="IMG_0075.jpeg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0Y7iFzTVDBQ/VpdkQmz70RI/AAAAAAAAo00/s4z_F58_t6M/IMG_0075.jpeg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 0075" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Today, I get the chance to search on the Internet - keyword “Jetstar duct tape” ...</p>
<p>And I found this video.</p>
<p>Source: <a href="http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2013/01/watch-an-engineer-repair-a-jetstar-plane-with-gaffer-tape/">http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2013/01/watch-an-engineer-repair-a-jetstar-plane-with-gaffer-tape/</a></p>
<p>WOW! Jetstar!!!!!!!!! Why????? Always use duct tape to repair your airplane?</p>
<p><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/k20zwl9brAc" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Wait now...</p>
<p>Let’s search “Budget Airline duct tape"</p>
<p>So, it is not only Jetstar. This is EasyJet. But they have explained why they need to use this. It is not a duct tape. It is called a “Speed Tape”. It is a common thing in airlines industries.</p>

<p>Tiger Airline not too bad. Use duct tape to stick the windows back. Make it more firm.</p>

<p>Cebu Airline fix a bit minor problem using duct tape.</p>

<p>OK. Wait now….</p>
<p>Let’s try to search “Singapore Airlines duct tape"</p>
<p>And… Singapore Airlines also uses it.</p>
<p><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wRBtnDBlrv4" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>The airlines engineers knows that they doing.</p>
<p>Of course they have calculated all the odds and making sure that the plane flight is safety.</p>
<p>Using duct tape or speed tape to repair the airplane is acceptable.</p>
<p><img title="wrong-use-of-duct-tape_o_271806.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-dWOuoE9imFo/VpdpQE0LsuI/AAAAAAAAo1c/V7ECkgOTk8Y/wrong-use-of-duct-tape_o_271806.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="Wrong use of duct tape o 271806" width="630" height="785" border="0" /></p>
<p>It can be used to repair boat too.</p>
<p><img title="DuctTape.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zbnc9vZo72s/VpdqJyq9KTI/AAAAAAAAo1o/3NQ0qKY6OJk/DuctTape.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="DuctTape" width="640" height="426" border="0" /></p>
<p>And cars too.</p>
<p><img title="4d2c0cf95b878cdf6eaf8a124bb00129.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kAXNyiuYOBc/VpdqQMz-xQI/AAAAAAAAo1w/c6dfd5VEOHQ/4d2c0cf95b878cdf6eaf8a124bb00129.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="4d2c0cf95b878cdf6eaf8a124bb00129" width="650" height="398" border="0" /></p>
<p>Something to think about. hahahahaha</p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1975866364292781573.post-29124930863772397562016-01-11T19:11:00.001+08:002016-01-11T19:11:28.894+08:00Gadget Notes - Nomad Apple Watch Battery Charger <p>Date: Jan 11, 2016</p>
<p>Ever since June last year until now, Apple Watch is on my wrist daily. It has become my fitness device, my watch and social media notification device. I don’t use a lot of apps on it at all.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9311.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kRIYOx80UvI/VpOKrs5i0NI/AAAAAAAAoys/AaXvWHcSldM/IMG_9311.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9311" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So far I am very please with it.</p>
<p>The only thing that I am not so happy with is the Apple Charging cable.</p>
<p>It’s long and ugly.</p>
<p>And I am so reluctant to bring another “lose” cable in my bag along. I already have one lightning cable, so I should not need another cable.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9301.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-buJGVgTOi3Q/VpOK9u_dUaI/AAAAAAAAoy0/FPt1tm0p-o0/IMG_9301.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9301" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, what is my solution?</p>
<p>Yes, Nomad Pod Charger for Apple Watch, solve it all.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9314.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FxTJLT2y0Es/VpOLQ6qSkEI/AAAAAAAAoy8/p8qA6R2O3Vk/IMG_9314.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9314" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is the Nomad Pod Charger. It looks like a ice hockey puck. (Of course, you can remove the USB cable).</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9303.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-OTAWj9AVgi4/VpOLoM7IZ6I/AAAAAAAAozE/ou0wtipjJKg/IMG_9303.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9303" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>There is a USB port inside for you to plug your Apple Watch charger in it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9304.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IrUZO3l7u5A/VpOLxt_h9SI/AAAAAAAAozM/OojEo82BZq0/IMG_9304.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9304" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, you start coiling the cable.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9305.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yh_2ud0OVh8/VpOL7e7v4JI/AAAAAAAAozU/MUDi40YQhNw/IMG_9305.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9305" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Until like this. And place the charging pad nicely fit into the holder provided.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9307.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-tpfjrDmuQwc/VpOMFUayUpI/AAAAAAAAozc/MIGY4DgNRlA/IMG_9307.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9307" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, cover it. The cover is magnetically attached.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9302.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VrWyfLNYzIw/VpOMUnaULgI/AAAAAAAAozk/U5GasiVQqZY/IMG_9302.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9302" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, simply placed your Apple Watch on top of it. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_9312.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6DK00q2IQCY/VpOMf9LXmDI/AAAAAAAAozs/u54tlPPRyU4/IMG_9312.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9312" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>And it starts charging the Apple Watch.</p>
<p>WAIT NOW! I have not plug in the power yet! ??</p>
<p>Yes, this is a Portable Battery too.</p>
<p>Basically, you charge the Apple Watch without cable plug in.</p>
<p>When you plug in the cable, it will charge the Apple Watch and at the same time charges the battery.</p>
<p>Very cool product.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9313.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PLTHZtwhxVQ/VpOMp4ZutmI/AAAAAAAAoz0/HFUkyoM-Cas/IMG_9313.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9313" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>It has the battery indicator.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9310.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GoMzd1jyZ3c/VpONK96lgGI/AAAAAAAAoz8/FCimYfLi3xg/IMG_9310.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9310" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, when I travel, I bring along this. Usually I have a micro USB cable. So, you can use the iPhone power adapter to charge this.</p>
<p>And I don’t have to deal with the ugly cable.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9317.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nbvvw6SDRr4/VpONVK7EsHI/AAAAAAAAo0E/zYkW_LKdq04/IMG_9317.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9317" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Unique selling point.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 6.47.08 PM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fjaVnZCoxNY/VpONjYFz_GI/AAAAAAAAo0M/7ksn0KG_55E/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-01-11%252520at%2525206.47.08%252520PM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 01 11 at 6 47 08 PM" width="720" height="559" border="0" /></p>
<p>I bought it at US$59.95, now I just check, it is on sales. They ship it to Singapore too.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 6.47.20 PM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wDhL8b-5ywk/VpONp4udB9I/AAAAAAAAo0U/Vrl8KKJD2Qs/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-01-11%252520at%2525206.47.20%252520PM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 01 11 at 6 47 20 PM" width="720" height="468" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here are the specs.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 6.47.35 PM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-lf5gOVIvAJ0/VpON0vySkQI/AAAAAAAAo0c/Lxwft35lXqI/Screen%252520Shot%2525202016-01-11%252520at%2525206.47.35%252520PM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2016 01 11 at 6 47 35 PM" width="720" height="473" border="0" /></p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1975866364292781573.post-48227786911270673802016-01-08T09:32:00.001+08:002016-01-08T09:32:21.575+08:00Maid Support<p>Date: Jan 8, 2016</p>
<p>During the absence of our Domestic helper (Dec 22, 2015 until Jan 5, 2016), we have two maid support. “Maid Support” I guess means the person who support the Domestic Helper.</p>
<p>They learned how to spin the mob and make sure the floor is clean.</p>
<p> <img title="IMG_8231.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xM5zOjyiVpY/Vo8PRQQkwiI/AAAAAAAAoxY/hkn8fNg8at8/IMG_8231.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8231" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Older kids can start learning how to wash dishes.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7760.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8UEzOrYMFzM/Vo8PoLf3uLI/AAAAAAAAoxg/hy4e5I3IgMs/IMG_7760.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7760" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, they will be tasked to do rice dumplings “Tang Yuan”.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7636.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-k6OsyKpuu74/Vo8PxsWjL_I/AAAAAAAAoxo/ew0EJ3lkdRM/IMG_7636.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7636" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Look at my BB-8 Tang Yuan.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7643.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_fAnioYFqzM/Vo8P_XnkT9I/AAAAAAAAoxw/2OWY4Vs1guY/IMG_7643.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7643" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>One day, we teach Jay Jay how to cook. So, he cook the Japanese Curry (errr… the beef is quite hard), Stir fried beef capsicum (which is quite nice) and steam tofu.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8257.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Z-uuFd8uzxw/Vo8QLi20kTI/AAAAAAAAox4/7BEaqYCIUtU/IMG_8257.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8257" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>In the morning, Jay Jay will fried eggs for us. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_8262.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Gv_1MEUthkY/Vo8QelKqMDI/AAAAAAAAoyA/r4HZk42h1IA/IMG_8262.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8262" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Not too bad.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8263.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qmAKSw7LyzM/Vo8Qoe75NaI/AAAAAAAAoyI/5xBZENZxjto/IMG_8263.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8263" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>The second day, we have even better, improved breakfast.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8278.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-aPEu_caBYDA/Vo8Qv2ZUvbI/AAAAAAAAoyQ/xE4bMmGoxgo/IMG_8278.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8278" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>He tried cooking scramble eggs too.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8279.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_GABeAZYqsc/Vo8Q5J0pALI/AAAAAAAAoyY/GBBJbQe9GDg/IMG_8279.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8279" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Jay Jay is 10 years old this year. So, it is a good time for him to learn how to cook.</p>
<p>Of course the food are simple food. All materials are pre-cut for him. All he needs to do is to turn on the stove, heat it up, and stir fry or cook it.</p>
<p>It is a good start.</p>
<p>And the whole family enjoys his food. Those that is not edible, we will slow cook it for another 1 hour for next day.</p>
<p>Of course, they will also task to prepare their washed cloths. Sort it out and place it in the correct cupboard, and so on.</p>
<p>The two boys has grown up and happily accepted their tasks to help out.</p>
<p>And we survive that two weeks plus without domestic helper at home. Cool!</p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1975866364292781573.post-78204822779150030532016-01-07T09:26:00.001+08:002016-01-08T06:15:08.103+08:00Kay Kay First Day of School in P1<p>Date: Jan 6, 2015</p>
<p>We have been waiting for this day for so long. Finally, Kay Kay has entered Primary 1.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8881.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-aIlUynFZKuo/Voxms--kZ3I/AAAAAAAAorM/KItmglrjcP4/IMG_8881.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8881" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>There is no problem for him to wake up at 6am on the first day, because we slept 8pm the day before. </p>
<p>By 6:10am, he already brushed up and eating his breakfast.</p>
<p>It shall become a daily (on weekday) routine for him.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8666.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uOAn2rf_Wmc/Voxm6EGmZUI/AAAAAAAAorU/1oTQYi5-QLQ/IMG_8666.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8666" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>No problem wearing his own socks and shoes.</p>
<p>I think the bus air con will be a bit cold, so, we let him wear a jacket to school.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8674.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h1gn_2U_kLg/VoxnP4t2SLI/AAAAAAAAorc/Uivrq7dBIa0/IMG_8674.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8674" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>He is quite small build. So, we keep reminding him to eat more, to grow taller and fatter (not like his brother, moderate will do).</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8677.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-t58yAGxPk5A/VoxnhW-8HlI/AAAAAAAAork/oB3-usnk9iU/IMG_8677.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8677" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Especially when he put on his bag at his back. The bag is almost 1/2 of his weight may be (or lesser, 1/3). So, when you got pushed by people it is easy to fall down.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8688.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-L1RCKh9bt4Y/VoxnncNnRjI/AAAAAAAAors/qE7kiDRBqcQ/IMG_8688.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8688" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here is a nice shot with his brother, Jay Jay. Jay Jay will protect Kay Kay in school for the next 3 years. But it is unlikely they will see each other during recess as the timing is different. But to go to school together with his brother is one of the things he is looking forward to.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8706.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hpSNl5ePPmE/VoxoEriI7AI/AAAAAAAAor0/hSx5lv8CZ3E/IMG_8706.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8706" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here come the bus. This is Kay Kay’s first time taking School Bus to school. </p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150854942?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>After picking up the boys, the school bus goes directly to school. So, Kay Kay will be in school quite early. So, he has plenty of time to do some reading.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8717.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wj1nHGCtpaY/VoxpDJ8i-3I/AAAAAAAAosA/fjEDSPKaY20/IMG_8717.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8717" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>More students gradually came. He is a bit shy on the first day. So, you can imagine me and his brother trying at home to teach him how to break the ice with other classmates. “I am Kay, what’s your name?” or “My name is Kay, what’s yours?”. “Where do you stay?” “ Do you take bus to school?” “ Which pre-school do you go to?” It is great tactic and he actually follows. The second days onwards, he comes home and tell story about “Grace” and “Wayne” whom he makes friend with.</p>

<p>Kay is still shy talking to classmates. But he tries chatting with teachers. A good sign.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8740.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-R_kDW8e8eBE/Voxp5lpM3hI/AAAAAAAAosQ/US_eymYdoI4/IMG_8740.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8740" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then. parents attending the talk on P1 matters, etc. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_8752.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iP4pW_qz_ZE/VoxqROOAGKI/AAAAAAAAosY/WESKUkqM7so/IMG_8752.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8752" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p><img title="IMG_8843.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cOqO29qDamQ/Vo2w0Iig7QI/AAAAAAAAoss/LslmUJm5Ee0/IMG_8843.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8843" width="720" height="1279" border="0" /></p>
<p>And he survived the first day. With no problem. Very excited. A bit too shy to talk to classmates. Give him some times, he will become the same Kay we knew in K2.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8878.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kBbd9DtfBiM/Vo2xFecndyI/AAAAAAAAos0/Op9-hs8dzDY/IMG_8878.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8878" width="720" height="1279" border="0" /></p>
<p>A very happy kid coming back from the school bus.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8902.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-rJtqenLJMjs/Vo2xlzwJK-I/AAAAAAAAos8/6wgvMzEW4Jc/IMG_8902.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8902" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Very happy indeed. The first day of his P1. He is going to spent the next 6 years here.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8903.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vNMYDZsIs2o/Vo2xuJiUIhI/AAAAAAAAotE/aRlSt5hFP5E/IMG_8903.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8903" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Day 2.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8918.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WQ8-VyOfVDY/Vo2yWUhdgxI/AAAAAAAAotM/8a3LP9TyJO4/IMG_8918.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8918" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, same routine. Read books and wait for others to come.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8922.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jp_OHNnc4ZU/Vo2yhbLtCOI/AAAAAAAAotU/kAG-HOHJxW4/IMG_8922.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8922" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>Jay and his prefects friends all have been tasked to look after the P1 during assembly time. Make sure every one take out books and read.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8936.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pYE7IhoJ4X8/Vo2yy8h5aaI/AAAAAAAAotc/rdM6-uQKc3E/IMG_8936.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8936" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>In fact, there will be 4 prefects (Brayden not in photo), Jay, Lukas and Aiden who will be looking after Kay Kay in school. These are his playmates since Lorna Whiston day.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8942.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nvckIa139Po/Vo2zAQ7M7TI/AAAAAAAAotk/A5aJGnnVqZ8/IMG_8942.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8942" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Day 2, Kay is still shy in front of his classmates. But he is starting to get more familiar with the teacher.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8947.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uW8ETvtDgOQ/Vo2zWZhPW-I/AAAAAAAAots/S62vq6rwHf4/IMG_8947.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8947" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>National songs and pledges.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8952.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3tDSWI4UECQ/Vo20w3AkX0I/AAAAAAAAot4/VGVLBaiPTDI/IMG_8952.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8952" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Time out, so, need to talk to him and encourage him to interact more with other classmates.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8989.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-k6APgscMMv0/Vo21cFdUzgI/AAAAAAAAouA/MqyAJqBZA0g/IMG_8989.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8989" width="720" height="1279" border="0" /></p>
<p>And there he goes along with his class back to their class room. May the force be with you!</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150967659?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Well, I said it way too early. An incident happened.</p>
<p>Kay was playing with a P1 girl from another class at the Bus waiting area. The girl keep pulling his bag, and he asked the girl not to do that. And the girl not happy and kick his leg. And the next thing you know, he fell down to the floor face down. And hurt his nose, and cause some nose bleed. Poor kid.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9007.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uy42IyO-eiU/Vo231hoQstI/AAAAAAAAouM/vOkY7_UD26A/IMG_9007.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9007" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Jay uses a slightly strong word, i.e. “bully”. But I think we have to teach the kid the right way of dealing with this.</p>
<p>1) He was playing with the girl. So, they were playing and accident might happen.</p>
<p>2) Some students they need to learn, If you ask them to stop and they do not listen, they need time to learn how to listen.</p>
<p>3) Especially when Kay fell down, and the girl saw the nose bleed. Imagine how the girl feels. She might feel terrible. So, she might not foresee this happening, but I am sure it scare her a lot seeing the blood. It might have a chance that the girl will never do this again, and will treat him well.</p>
<p>4) Teacher came and sort out the matters. And teacher has already recorded down the other student (the girl’s name). So, adults know about it.</p>
<p>5) Students will need to sort this out among themselves too.</p>
<p>6) The girl still take the same school bus every day, so, Kay will still see the girl. So, I asked Kay to say Hi the next day when he sees her. And encourage her to continue to play with her. Tell him that accident happens.</p>
<p>7) And I communicate with the form teacher, and asked the form teacher to talk to Kay as well to award him a “star”.</p>
<p>So, Kay received a medal +1 point for Bravery. Thanks Mrs. Woon for awarding him that.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9104.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IUNfM64K3IA/Vo25mCDmMzI/AAAAAAAAouU/5JFmRjkOvAw/IMG_9104.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9104" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So you can imagine his face when he reads the word “Bravery”. Makes him proud too.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9102.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hcap2vToqx8/Vo2-AFq4XuI/AAAAAAAAou8/QGA_8fVsh4s/IMG_9102.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9102" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>He is so happy although the bruises actually take form today. Become darker colour. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_9075.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ySvwc6hC4e0/Vo251VE5MpI/AAAAAAAAouc/7XO83nojDeQ/IMG_9075.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9075" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Some more can teach people to play chopstick in his Taekwondo class. Hahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9074.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jcl0QRG9E78/Vo26JaoVuRI/AAAAAAAAouk/y8cISWbJrIo/IMG_9074.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9074" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>After yesterday incident, already recover become happy boy.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_9081.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-K__130tzktk/Vo26vAC9gvI/AAAAAAAAouw/FEUK53KyvR0/IMG_9081.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 9081" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>

<p>This year, we actually took 3 lessons at Urban Ski @ Millenia Walk, and it does help. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_6589.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MhWCa8sd0ME/VoXJCP2xoqI/AAAAAAAAoj4/XgAUAIloz6k/IMG_6589.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6589" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>The 3 lessons taught my wife and Kay Kay why is it important to shout “small pizza”, “big pizza” and “French Fries”. It let them has the first hand to feel what is it like to be skiing on your ski. Although it is done on an artificial snow carpet that emulates the skiing slope, It is much much more easier to ski on the real snow. This is because at the Urban Ski, the snow carpet is non-stop keep turning as when you are on the real snow slope, you can stop anytime you want.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5752.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-t2IslC0Cnyc/VoXJt9np7nI/AAAAAAAAokA/zPuSMntEN90/IMG_5752.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5752" width="720" height="405" border="0" /></p>
<p>The main thing is to train this boy to ski so that he can join in the fun with me and Jay Jay. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_6569.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--F0gXuCRnag/VoXKlT0tByI/AAAAAAAAokM/BHbBiZx_M8s/IMG_6569.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6569" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>The first time we were at the Rusutsu West slope, it was quite icy as there isn’t much snow. Or rather the powder snow came quite late.</p>
<p>There are at least 4-5 schools (Primary school or high School) students are taking lessons here at Rusutsu Resorts. So, the ski slope is actually quite crowded</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6586.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8sHyVpB0O90/VoXK1Y_Jh7I/AAAAAAAAokU/oKKuvmlxXOM/IMG_6586.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6586" width="720" height="179" border="0" /></p>
<p>We engage a English speaking coach to coach us how to ski on the icy snow. Coach Saskia Weir did a great job teaching us.</p>
<p><img title="PC150184.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fTSqYlB7EqQ/VoXQDD7v6_I/AAAAAAAAokk/O1aKN57x1xM/PC150184.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150184" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Everyday, I have to carry the kids ski here and there. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_6570.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TbqS_-yH3Nk/VoXQy_XxTeI/AAAAAAAAoks/TrVKj4C5pZw/IMG_6570.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6570" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Yup, we are ready to ski.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6587.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yuPjwBDh18Y/VoXiavKy0kI/AAAAAAAAok8/PEOAqiS2_d0/IMG_6587.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6587" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Day 1. Simple slide down.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6592.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-I4kEQqzhzQQ/VoXirY0JDVI/AAAAAAAAolE/FtETI9WVXZE/IMG_6592.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6592" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Mommy looks pretty sharp. </p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150454858?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Mommy is very happy that she gets to ski this time.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6605.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gJ-rwv8qwX0/VoXmugS8hcI/AAAAAAAAolY/bSwN7egkiKE/IMG_6605.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6605" width="720" height="645" border="0" /></p>
<p>Kay Kay is having lots of fun. He loves to ski, no doubt.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150454868?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>At first, he still don’t know how to handle those two ski sticks. But later, he got used to it and did pretty well.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6612.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-v5w0intOjcE/VoXqtWyTaXI/AAAAAAAAolk/6VxByxHZ5Qo/IMG_6612.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6612" width="720" height="405" border="0" /></p>
<p>Jay Jay just recovered from the motion sickness vomiting from yesterday. So, he is taking pretty easy on the first session.</p>
<p><img title="PC140003.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NCLdjSLQdwQ/VoXl28HdVzI/AAAAAAAAolQ/gV5UBIxU020/PC140003.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC140003" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>You can tell he is very tired after the first session. So, we decided to buy those delicious instant noodle and eat in our room.</p>
<p><img title="P1040232.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MsPwAQ2dcoM/VoXylC-U2FI/AAAAAAAAol0/LC4SyNNuPg8/P1040232.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="P1040232" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Yesterday he still vomit here and there. Today, he recovered. I am so glad about it.</p>
<p><img title="P1040234.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X53HAqST8Ek/VoXywQrcS0I/AAAAAAAAol8/lVuoqJYqO74/P1040234.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="P1040234" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>And he ate a lot of bowls. hahaha</p>
<p><img title="P1040239.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q6Gdu7Y34pc/VoXzBydhvMI/AAAAAAAAomE/EpXjFReHMaU/P1040239.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="P1040239" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here comes the afternoon session. No snow. The ground is a bit icy. </p>
<p><img title="PC140031.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TbDLQ_oKUl4/VoYxP98hCYI/AAAAAAAAomY/d2qHzA56RaQ/PC140031.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC140031" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>During the second session, Saskia decided not to let us use our ski sticks. So, every one just ski down without the sticks.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150454939?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>This is Kay Kay. And the more he ski down the slope the more he learned how to ski.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150454944?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Of course, daddy will do the funny running ski.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150454960?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>The next day in the third session, Saskia decided to bring us to the East Mountain. Thinking that it might have lesser people there. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_6663.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8NPh8_kTSkQ/VocZLeSN3yI/AAAAAAAAoms/InlM8SLvuIQ/IMG_6663.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6663" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Having acquired a new skill - skiing… Kay Kay looks exceptionally happy.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6665.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KUcry5ysofo/VocZhpMhD2I/AAAAAAAAom0/73lUTssfirQ/IMG_6665.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6665" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here here are at the East Mountain gondola station. It is hard work to bring all the skis from North Wing to South Wing and to the Godola station. We are almost exhausted before we get here.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6671.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yEzOuP2EWo4/VocZvnlQjtI/AAAAAAAAom8/QjjysEmJ0YE/IMG_6671.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6671" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>There are many people here too. Especially those Hokkaido students. </p>
<p><img title="IMG_6677.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-G_OYm6yjg4E/VocabW1wTEI/AAAAAAAAonI/7iXcQQEOVM0/IMG_6677.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6677" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Let’s take a nice family photo here.</p>

<p>There was a short rain yesterday night and it has actually soften the icy snow. So, the skiing condition is surprisingly pleasant for today.</p>
<p><img title="PC150075.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PEsgbIapgko/Voca2tTl2FI/AAAAAAAAonY/BIfkcJZ1tVw/PC150075.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150075" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>The young man getting energetic and better today despite of his motion sickness and vomiting 2 days ago.</p>
<p><img title="PC150076.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Jn-E062GuxQ/VocbJLoLUrI/AAAAAAAAong/wY9LZ4L4rzk/PC150076.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150076" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>It is a nice ski run from up there, on the slightly right. I hope we not going up there. hahaha</p>
<p><img title="PC150080.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-co9BfIRU16Q/VocbWp6s8GI/AAAAAAAAono/-XWWOncvReM/PC150080.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150080" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>For the first 30 minutes, we have been practising the big S and small S to turn left and right. And surprisingly all the students performs very well. And because there are too many students around, Saskia decided that we are ready to conquer East Mountain. So, let’s go to the chair lift.</p>
<p><img title="PC150083.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PV5_s4BVMJQ/Vocbsqvi7_I/AAAAAAAAonw/IE-g4NvVZb0/PC150083.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150083" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Ken: Are you sure Saskia? Kay and Boon just learned how to ski yesterday.</p>
<p>Saskia: It will be fine.</p>
<p>Ken: OK.</p>
<p>And there we go, after “cutting queue” go in front of hundreds of Hokkaido High School Students, we are on the chair lift.</p>
<p><img title="PC150089.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_o4BWUXtOEs/VoccGmnMhtI/AAAAAAAAon4/B8jfjulNn7A/PC150089.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150089" width="720" height="480" border="0" />\</p>
<p>It is amazing. I like!</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455001?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>We actually forgot to put down the safety bar. hahaha That is why we have to be very careful and lean backward.</p>
<p><img title="PC150100.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RqpW2s-cn8Y/Voccq575ckI/AAAAAAAAooA/KNbCymWvRiI/PC150100.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150100" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>The view is amazing.</p>
<p><img title="PC150092.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mYiRzvwFgFI/Vocc6Nl1L1I/AAAAAAAAooI/g26I4WratKU/PC150092.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150092" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here comes Kay Kay - first experience skiing down from the chair lift.</p>
<p><img title="PC150106.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gEq_5-PiZdk/VocdYgXW1aI/AAAAAAAAooQ/rsRyKZm6W3o/PC150106.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150106" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>And here we are … on top of the East Mountain.</p>
<p><img title="PC150110.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vXG1KVlSrPU/VocdkFd4s8I/AAAAAAAAooY/Bhq1WkQLkP8/PC150110.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150110" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>We all amaze with the East mountain scenery and forgot all about the danger ahead of us. hahahaha</p>
<p><img title="PC150113.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-u8jnOYP9Htg/VocdzVPpGmI/AAAAAAAAoog/IC5wqjOC1zY/PC150113.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150113" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>It is amazing view.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455006?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Kay Kay got ready to ski down.</p>
<p><img title="PC150116.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LFp3jsLAzvs/VoceHz8aIcI/AAAAAAAAooo/dC3ipQf9Fsw/PC150116.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150116" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Another view from the East Mountain. While we are skiing down. I know it is dangerous to ski and take video or photo. But can’t help it. hahaha</p>
<p><img title="PC150120.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X4Q1YeWSaVs/VoceVmEsQxI/AAAAAAAAoow/5aMAU5bBvx4/PC150120.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150120" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Its a long way down, and we could not see the end… where is the chair lift station? hahahahaha</p>
<p><img title="PC150126.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Ta6agJ1-G6Y/VocenkzYG4I/AAAAAAAAoo4/IFqXW7igebA/PC150126.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150126" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Big pizza and stop. Let’s do it!</p>
<p><img title="PC150127.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-g0L6MFf_S8E/Voce5GJqWCI/AAAAAAAAopA/ID4bss-gIWs/PC150127.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150127" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Mommy doing pretty good on her first skiing experience from a hill. hahahaha</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455138?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>There was very steep part during the ski run, and I lost all my control, as I was doing too small “S” to make turns and it gains a lot of speed. I feel like I was skiing down the slope “non-stop” “unstoppable” “cannot stop at all”… and weeeeeeeeeeeeeee…. the next minute I found myself in the plain area. It feels good. And now I have to wait there for them to come down. A fox slowly cross by. Yet, I could not see them. So, I guess, you have to put your trust in Saskia and hope that all three of them do not have that horrible speeding experience like me, coming down so fast. </p>
<p>Few minutes later, a relief as I saw Jay Jay appeared.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455140?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>And a few minutes later…</p>
<p>Here comes mommy and Kay Kay.</p>
<p>All three of them along with the coach arrived safely. hahaha</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455156?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Wow, in the middle of the ski run you sometimes will see this. A hole with cold water streams. Make sure you don’t ski into it.</p>
<p><img title="PC150142.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Gy5jOYtDBiI/VocgnYfwcuI/AAAAAAAAopM/D9hciLDPJk4/PC150142.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150142" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here is the final footage of the East Mountain ski run. And now we are back to the East Mountain gondola station.</p>
<p>It was a pretty good ski for the last 25 minutes or so. HaHaHa…</p>
<p>Kay Kay fell down and pick himself up and use the two sticks to chase mommy. Well done! </p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455228?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Let’s take a break.</p>
<p>So, we went back to our room again to rest and cook ourselves very nice Instant Noodles.</p>
<p>Then, at 2pm, we came back to our 4th session.</p>
<p>And Saskia felt that our “S” is not big enough so she make sure we have enough practice again to make sure the “S” turning is wide and big.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455231?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>It is fun to watch the little kid do so well. He is so light that is why he can control well I guess.</p>
<p>I think he loves to ski. Looks like next year we might come back to ski here again.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455247?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>When we are ready to go, let’s go up to the lift chair.</p>
<p><img title="PC150152.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-F2tkZ7Mk9EU/VociGnNs7UI/AAAAAAAAopY/ScGhBkT4RsI/PC150152.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150152" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>The only other time that Kay Kay sitting on the lift chair is in the Sentosa Luge.</p>
<p><img title="PC150153.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qmm-MC1qTeM/VociQmjkqtI/AAAAAAAAopg/RSFj4OA7EgI/PC150153.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150153" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>It’s pretty exciting.</p>
<p><img title="PC150154.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DecT-sCRJH0/VocicNtWgtI/AAAAAAAAopo/mzFIkeOXZ6o/PC150154.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150154" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>That’s Kay Kay in front.</p>
<p><img title="PC150156.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jd5BFU63IB8/Vocip0Oxd2I/AAAAAAAAopw/3ayW63IJrP4/PC150156.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150156" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>We did two run int he West mountain.</p>
<p><img title="PC150161.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xZnjJJWSpaA/Voci6HIP02I/AAAAAAAAop4/fyY1FlthWoY/PC150161.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150161" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>West Mountain ski run is pretty easy and straight forward. So, even Boon has a big smile on her face for what she has achieved.</p>
<p><img title="PC150168.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ehLhKzW6RSE/VocjF4pBrqI/AAAAAAAAoqA/tS8UMGtXrRU/PC150168.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150168" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Let’s go!</p>
<p><img title="PC150171.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-y_GzOVzY8NI/VocjSymMMHI/AAAAAAAAoqI/VJETfFalHM0/PC150171.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150171" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>The second time we go up West Mountain, we let the kids sit with Saskia. Let’s take a selfie here.</p>
<p><img title="PC150176.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4bN73t2vaJ4/VocjeDMPthI/AAAAAAAAoqQ/nUlvS9v_m3A/PC150176.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150176" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>Here is the footage of one of the West Mountain run.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150455298?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Thanks Saskia! Thanks for teaching us how to ski.</p>
<p><img title="PC150182.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sxvfIJ4ulCg/Vocj7ipZUvI/AAAAAAAAoqY/PuFD1GusdTU/PC150182.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="PC150182" width="720" height="480" border="0" /></p>

<p><img title="IMG_6704.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-O4ipA8Cxx4c/VockLBQNhPI/AAAAAAAAoqg/tqV2gDEddso/IMG_6704.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6704" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>And we also did the Fuboru run. On the East Mountain.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6706.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EBL-PLN96iI/VockWL03fpI/AAAAAAAAoqo/ikwfP51t1Ac/IMG_6706.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6706" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>

<p>Do you know how to make Ice Cream?</p>
<p>With two aluminium bowl, milk, cream, sugar and salt. </p>
<p>After this trip, I finally knew.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6956.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-khp4FqvuZKc/VoR4KyC0eAI/AAAAAAAAogo/rq3Kv6BYClo/IMG_6956.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6956" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is where we learned how to make Ice Cream. Hokkaido Ice Cream is really good. This is gelato type of Ice Cream.</p>
<p>We have been here last year. We have our wonderful Ice Cream here.</p>
<p>It is nice to re-visit this place.</p>
<p>When we came here last year, we only buy the ice cream and sit at the barn there and watch the cow and Mt. Yotei.</p>
<p>We didn’t know there is a short course teaching you how to make Ice Cream. </p>
<p>Thanks to the private tour agency and the tour guide who brought us here to experience something that is different.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6953.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-B0flv4TQYiA/VoR4a2Z6yKI/AAAAAAAAogw/J9CGRBNwR2w/IMG_6953.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6953" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Wow, this girl looks like 广末凉子.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6959.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WqlWJ3re3IU/VoR5HYw075I/AAAAAAAAog4/_eEOgb3BOdw/IMG_6959.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6959" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>When she is teaching, every one watch. The lady in the middle is Tomoko-san our private tour guide.</p>
<p>It is nice to have a tour guide who speaks perfect English.</p>
<p>I pity the next table, whom I believe the family is from Malaysia, they too have a private tour guide, but the tour guide was not doing any thing or explaining. As for our Tomoko-san, she explained and translate every sentence the pretty girl is saying so that we know what to do. And luckily for that, the table next door got huge benefit and fun by listening to her explanation in English. :)</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6963.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WOooyqSMHoc/VoR5Tueoe6I/AAAAAAAAohA/BpQt2l8IY60/IMG_6963.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6963" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Let’s get on to it.</p>
<p>First we need 380cc of Milk. Hokkaido Fresh Milk.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6970.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mmszm6mYFXQ/VoR6TCSgHeI/AAAAAAAAohQ/twgRVv6j99o/IMG_6970.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6970" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, you add 120cc of fresh cream in it. Mix it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6973.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e60WpkTR9qc/VoR6X50jaCI/AAAAAAAAohY/hW9CVeYjXRU/IMG_6973.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6973" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Next, you will need to put 40g of fine sugar and mix everything with a stirrer.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6974.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kEQ-m0f_7es/VoR6mvVuK1I/AAAAAAAAohg/VyhZH_DKPD4/IMG_6974.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6974" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>It’s time to stir and mix the milk, cream and sugar together.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150385516?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>And then, the cube ice are placed in another aluminium bowl. This is to cool down the milk plus cream.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6976.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qPSh1hLvddw/VoSAlwYbGHI/AAAAAAAAoh0/BZyfZ-oKktw/IMG_6976.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6976" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>And then, you need to place the salt onto the ice. So that it has lesser direct ice to ice frictions and keep the temperature low. I think.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6978.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vXrNCBGojow/VoSA0mWXE7I/AAAAAAAAoh8/qBb0YT3uJuU/IMG_6978.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6978" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Yup… just put all the salt in it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6979.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6esaysA_d0Y/VoSBFG0IzeI/AAAAAAAAoiE/VfpgTtRUBFo/IMG_6979.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6979" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Kay can do such a simple task. Put salt onto the ice.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6982.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VTF2CQdz14g/VoSBPjJaTSI/AAAAAAAAoiM/NATkp3uzcLY/IMG_6982.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6982" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Meanwhile, our ice cream mix is already ready.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6985.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Uz0K7wN6Xos/VoSBaZA4h7I/AAAAAAAAoiU/X6zKyunwST4/IMG_6985.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6985" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Place the milk cream on top of the ice bowl and start spinning.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_6988.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-G5nG0X4ojBQ/VoSBnNt0BaI/AAAAAAAAoic/nSNy0cD7jsA/IMG_6988.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 6988" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>While spinning, scrap the ice cream off the bowl.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150385519?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Then, scrap more ice cream of the bowl. keep spinning.</p>
<p> <img title="IMG_7001.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vksRBTMW-Pc/VoSCCw1oyNI/AAAAAAAAoik/jpi06nx8lfE/IMG_7001.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7001" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Your ice cream is almost done.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150385528?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>This is how cold the bowl can be. Very cold.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7008.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-l3wrYSOZiL4/VoSCUUtalkI/AAAAAAAAois/rNd8D3GZRzQ/IMG_7008.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7008" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>And it is done!</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7012.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-O4hW92RBobw/VoSCfNqqkWI/AAAAAAAAoi0/F9SYdq3JnTs/IMG_7012.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7012" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>A few more spin. And it is completely done. Our first home made ice cream by hand.</p>
<p><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/150385546?color=a8a8a8" width="720" height="540" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>
<p>Now she teaches us how to make the waffle.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_2943.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-q3yc9c8Px-Q/VoSCz5mLvMI/AAAAAAAAojE/DlxBQfkbs70/IMG_2943.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 2943" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Place the Ice Cream on it. Yummy.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7013.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FzGgbeDgoWI/VoSCqgtnF4I/AAAAAAAAoi8/QbRD0Ducs3c/IMG_7013.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7013" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>And our successful home made ice cream.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_7015.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-l2ajJYVEVsc/VoSDB4HcjaI/AAAAAAAAojM/SrADHtHaOMs/IMG_7015.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 7015" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Of course, kids learned and have lots of fun!</p>

<p>Finally, since 18 months old, Kay Kay has finally say good bye to his pre-school - Lorna Whiston.</p>
<p>Next year, he will be joining his brother for Primary 1.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4202.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-F0xhpd13Erw/VoMhq9JtVAI/AAAAAAAAobQ/DID80fjdv98/IMG_4202.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4202" width="720" height="900" border="0" /></p>
<p>Just after he got his blue belt in Taekwondo, he attended the Pei Tong Primary School orientation.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4191.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9AyVzDXcwHY/VoMiZ0C6MFI/AAAAAAAAobY/b-xW-ctsPOU/IMG_4191.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4191" width="720" height="720" border="0" /></p>
<p>He felt happy on that orientation day.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4207.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DquoU0PU-rQ/VoMjv4IUStI/AAAAAAAAobk/crCLF3_DsmA/IMG_4207.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4207" width="720" height="865" border="0" /></p>
<p>He gets to wear his new uniform. Looks a bit big.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4213.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--ifEjXOmThM/VoMj-_YWFgI/AAAAAAAAobs/APUTO3VimpE/IMG_4213.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4213" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>He is funny. So, he will definitely survive in his Primary School years.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4230.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JwXghcaYgr4/VoMkTdh7BzI/AAAAAAAAob0/--zlxRRPz6o/IMG_4230.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4230" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>When he was in K1, we were a bit worry about him, wonder when he can grow up. But K2 seems completely different, and he grew up fast during that year.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4244.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XGwEN6GvUUI/VoMkkoXz_dI/AAAAAAAAob8/yPxNNrl8ICc/IMG_4244.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4244" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>His bodyguard will be protecting him for the first 3 years in Primary School. Jay Jay!</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4256.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3GnQYMjzaRk/VoMk4J98w3I/AAAAAAAAocE/DkUlsfP-lRE/IMG_4256.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4256" width="720" height="727" border="0" /></p>
<p>This will be his new school bag.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4264.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Bj9aSHRfLA0/VoMlQUekJlI/AAAAAAAAocM/nB502gUUORc/IMG_4264.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4264" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>On Nov 28, this is the day Kay Kay for the first time will not be sleeping at home with parents.</p>
<p>That day is his K2 Camp Night. This is the traditional day where K2 students spent the night with the teachers at school.</p>
<p>But this year, LWPS did it differently.</p>
<p>Instead of having the school camp in Lorna Whiston Pre-School, the school camp is held in Sentosa Underwater World.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4960.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yc2WTK3n9r0/VoMn-h9FTOI/AAAAAAAAodw/8BJJyPLJWLc/IMG_4960.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4960" width="720" height="1280" border="0" /></p>
<p>Yup, he is going to stay overnight at Sentosa Underwater World.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4933.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-91_w9kH4M7o/VoMmYHH9xMI/AAAAAAAAocY/Rodmnua_KHI/IMG_4933.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4933" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>There are a lot of activity for them to do at Underwater World. And they don’t get to sleep until 12 mid-night. Wow. </p>
<p>How exciting.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4937.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fsxigp7XUss/VoMmfu1L20I/AAAAAAAAocg/NYqrArSnTtQ/IMG_4937.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4937" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Look how happy he is sitting beside his best buddy Collette.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4949.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-18HaGlWvukg/VoMnPIgXhSI/AAAAAAAAodA/JuPD2dmH_AM/IMG_4949.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4949" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>I think they are going to see the dolphins outside.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4953.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qux2yKiO-kQ/VoMnWG5hrKI/AAAAAAAAodI/8jnrMX_ene8/IMG_4953.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4953" width="720" height="405" border="0" /></p>
<p>Of course learning the different kind of fish species in the aquarium itself.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4954.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sNMUaMLnHoE/VoMne_z5GLI/AAAAAAAAodQ/VRHIqmEgigM/IMG_4954.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4954" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Wow, it is amazing and it looks so fun.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4955.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EvzjDs271zA/VoMno8XRBeI/AAAAAAAAodY/Jy2gW9ZyJjE/IMG_4955.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4955" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Let’s take a quick pic here.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4957.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-edxnTofv4K8/VoMnusDz0-I/AAAAAAAAodg/9F59-v84-IU/IMG_4957.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4957" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>It’s dinner time.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4958.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-96D8HIVkc-4/VoMn1c1sSqI/AAAAAAAAodo/0PYKMZBlgeo/IMG_4958.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4958" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p> </p>
<p>More activities…</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4945.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qqGB3dC_E4E/VoMnGuqizuI/AAAAAAAAoc4/QjBQXuehnZQ/IMG_4945.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4945" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>

<p><img title="IMG_4943.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ep5d9Iha1xw/VoMm-Q_LN1I/AAAAAAAAocw/gnv3sC5IxCI/IMG_4943.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4943" width="600" height="800" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is so cool. Wearing pyjamas in the Underwater World and walk around.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4963.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LNU1B0ayiX0/VoMoE5v0O7I/AAAAAAAAod4/NEK1aVnV7Aw/IMG_4963.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4963" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Yup, I am going to sleep with this fish later.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4965.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8iATD62zy-E/VoMoSzC50kI/AAAAAAAAoeI/DT3LYPCIkns/IMG_4965.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4965" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>I think it is almost 12 mid-night, and the kids are still awake?? hahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4971.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pZZC6y1UuWA/VoMoPtkQzqI/AAAAAAAAoeA/9sSWg8jCUbo/IMG_4971.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4971" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Amazing. So much fun.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4973.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZSdjd-YrKU4/VoMooDZi7EI/AAAAAAAAoeQ/Qah8NfwIDGQ/IMG_4973.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4973" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong</p>
<p>The clock strikes 12 and all have to go to bed.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4974.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KUjYa242kzo/VoMowxynTAI/AAAAAAAAoeY/0vWgXUa2wuM/IMG_4974.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4974" width="600" height="800" border="0" /></p>
<p>Nite Nite.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4975.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZQb_yPaEVLE/VoMo6kucZ5I/AAAAAAAAoeg/DUyDUN-wfxI/IMG_4975.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4975" width="600" height="800" border="0" /></p>
<p>Good night Kay Kay.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4977.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-lvQG_dJHS7k/VoMpAQAC6NI/AAAAAAAAoeo/6K66mq1q1lU/IMG_4977.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4977" width="600" height="800" border="0" /></p>
<p>They sure wake up early next day.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4986.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kj_Uoi6yInk/VoMpL92StZI/AAAAAAAAoew/IfUvsMOT_xA/IMG_4986.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4986" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>So surprise that they can even wake up.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4988.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wuQSJsIedZE/VoMpSgvqRfI/AAAAAAAAoe4/2v5mHnvBg1k/IMG_4988.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4988" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Let’s do more excursion.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4990.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IRzD8sDZCHc/VoMpYpwq96I/AAAAAAAAofA/0Eq-1yjffU0/IMG_4990.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4990" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Wah… So happy ah….</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4991.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-db31pmWTYsI/VoMpeG64loI/AAAAAAAAofI/JRq5yIoWuxA/IMG_4991.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4991" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>They really visited a lot of places.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4993.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZqGyQQbRIgg/VoMpkB4ubpI/AAAAAAAAofQ/P8PeKL_hOLg/IMG_4993.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4993" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Even playing with the seals.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4994.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oDLZth0ZBHU/VoMprfCgn0I/AAAAAAAAofY/OcNDyw2HmBw/IMG_4994.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4994" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Then, they learn more stuff from the video.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_4995.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wNh2IZVHhNg/VoMpzgh0BcI/AAAAAAAAofg/tQfEKkwY-0w/IMG_4995.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 4995" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Meanwhile, the parents of the kids were having fun with their siblings too. Play Luge. They are waiting to fetch Kay and Collette.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5005.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-T8IHUzby9nQ/VoMp-3_J5PI/AAAAAAAAofo/gg-iTip979c/IMG_5005.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5005" width="720" height="1280" border="0" /></p>
<p>And I am on my 6-days conference trip to Bangkok with 4 days playing golf. hahahaha</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5041.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7ZdJjror29w/VoMqMa3qxxI/AAAAAAAAofw/LhZFM3X9FsU/IMG_5041.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5041" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>And it is finally done. Kay Kay finally done his K2 camp.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5011.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pYu5SY1wS5o/VoMql0jhp2I/AAAAAAAAogA/z_0KENKpvuI/IMG_5011.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5011" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>So as Collette. With a happy face.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5012.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-5QXdcMdeDmc/VoMqsUSCfJI/AAAAAAAAogI/1IFodoAo5ZU/IMG_5012.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5012" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>A big thanks to their favourite teacher.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5024.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wO12Zy7kTxM/VoMqe-vQ-uI/AAAAAAAAof4/-BirPvGX9KE/IMG_5024.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5024" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>And that concludes their happy K2 camp.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_5061.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-W1ICzyQ5sK0/VoMq4-uFf7I/AAAAAAAAogQ/ncTxdvXMw7I/IMG_5061.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 5061" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>And finally Kay Kay has completed his pre-school years. 4 years and 6 months in Lorna Whiston. It will be a very memorable memory for all these kids.</p>

<p>Good things must share.</p>
<p>I have been using this for almost few months now.</p>
<p>And I felt that my poo is a lot a lot more smoother and more complete.</p>
<p>My entire family uses it.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8164.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-D7LyIIMNCkw/VoHPovtpK9I/AAAAAAAAoaE/Yvs_Lxujb3Q/IMG_8164.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8164" width="720" height="960" border="0" /></p>
<p>Squatting with a 35 degrees angle is a good angle to poo poo.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8165.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-QBE2cmmj920/VoHP6wpIY-I/AAAAAAAAoaM/8fAKEkm1Om0/IMG_8165.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8165" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>If you have constipation problem, this might help too.</p>
<p><img title="IMG_8166.jpg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i5WqNjQb4pE/VoHQH0TtbFI/AAAAAAAAoaU/K7Kv5P3UQtA/IMG_8166.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="IMG 8166" width="720" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is the spec.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2015-12-29 at 8.07.43 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-two9eGvIivQ/VoHQQYSxbFI/AAAAAAAAoac/C9-5tpoQeBs/Screen%252520Shot%2525202015-12-29%252520at%2525208.07.43%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2015 12 29 at 8 07 43 AM" width="719" height="540" border="0" /></p>
<p>Bought it from Taobao. (Please do not ask me to buy, if you want to buy, you can contact my buying agent, Amy Lin, cinagoods@hotmail.com, she will buy for you and help you to ship. Also, you can buy yourself from other places too or even directly from Taobao). It is about S$10. </p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2015-12-29 at 8.07.28 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wjkdzulFmZk/VoHQX_ai4wI/AAAAAAAAoak/d-nSDUqcC9s/Screen%252520Shot%2525202015-12-29%252520at%2525208.07.28%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2015 12 29 at 8 07 28 AM" width="719" height="497" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is how you use it. It is the more natural position.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2015-12-29 at 8.07.50 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JR7MS8vS_-Y/VoHQweavKOI/AAAAAAAAoas/I890GvmpBqE/Screen%252520Shot%2525202015-12-29%252520at%2525208.07.50%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2015 12 29 at 8 07 50 AM" width="720" height="854" border="0" /></p>
<p>This is the research details. If you sit 90 degrees the poo poo sometimes is harder to come out.</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2015-12-29 at 8.08.16 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--Tf_8E_sG_s/VoHQ6kf31TI/AAAAAAAAoa0/7CbAuw9S1Q4/Screen%252520Shot%2525202015-12-29%252520at%2525208.08.16%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2015 12 29 at 8 08 16 AM" width="720" height="796" border="0" /></p>
<p>So, you must give it a 35% to increase the pressure at the abdomen and push the poo poo smoothly out. hahaha</p>
<p><img title="Screen Shot 2015-12-29 at 8.08.33 AM.png" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cMIzDQcWbYA/VoHRFstg-aI/AAAAAAAAoa8/8GcAlWp4I_M/Screen%252520Shot%2525202015-12-29%252520at%2525208.08.33%252520AM.png?imgmax=800" alt="Screen Shot 2015 12 29 at 8 08 33 AM" width="719" height="459" border="0" /></p>
<p>Of course, you can buy the branded staff. Hey, it is just a chair, you can buy from Ikea some stool to do the job too. But these stool design in such a way that you can also keep it under the toilet seat. hahaha</p>
<p>Have fun!</p>kenliewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16628407367582644263noreply@blogger.com3
