According to this report conducted by Australian, they compared two groups of people; one who walks about 3,000 steps a day and the other who walks about 10,000 steps a day.
They conducted the test on 592 person who has no diabetes, but in general over weight, slightly higher hypertension, got big belly, etc. So they found out that, those who walks more need not to go diet but their body weight and waist size will go down and they lesser chance to have diabetes.
So, have you ever counted how many steps you actually walk per day? What about those drivers or car owner?
I think I will try to get a pedometer and start checking how many steps I walk per day just to have a reference.
Interesting...
