This coming Friday is Teacher's day for Singapore.  So, the school will normally celebrate the teacher's day on Thursday!

NewImage.jpg

The kids are busy on wednesday preparing some presents for the teachers.  And guess what they have requested to have?

Clue #1.  Needs a lot of flowers.  Different types of flowers.

IMG_0589.JPG

Clue #2.  Needs pots.

IMG_0577.jpg

Yes.  They want to make their own flower pots for the teachers.  So, now they are busy designing the pots.

IMG_0580.jpgIMG_0581.jpg

Yes.  Kay Kay will be making 2 pots for his class teachers.

IMG_0588.jpg

And he is having lots of fun too.

IMG_0592.jpg

As for Jay, he is the "culprit" who come up with this idea.  So, he is doing for about 8 or more teachers.  :)

IMG_0583.jpgIMG_0584.jpg

And he puts all his hearts in doing the flower pots.  So, I think the teachers @ Lorna Whiston should be very surprise and happy about it tomorrow when they see the flowers.

IMG_0587.jpg

Of course, some of the teachers who is on the facebook will get the preview version of their presents.  :)

I Last Seen Her 13 Years Ago…

Date:  Aug 30, 2011

Almost 20 years ago, I can still remember this relative of "苏记" Chinese Groceries Stores and Restaurant at St. John's Newfoundland.  All of us, the foreigner students in Memorial University of Newfoundland becomes friends.  Lots of outings together.  All those memories.  Nice and fun!  Since we graduate, we only met once or twice which is 13 years ago.  I am glad that she visited Singapore, and our kids have some fun time together.  So after our lunch @ Long Beach East Coast Park, we spent about 2 hours at Polliwogs, a kids playground.  According to Loisa, in Hong Kong, there is not many such "public" playground for kids.  Most of them are clubs.
