My first Christmas Party was held yesterday. It was a great party. Lots of food, and lots of paparazi who is taking photo of the food. These are the younger generations who always take photos and upload to facebook before they eat.
Tonight, I am going to cook some steaks for the gang. So, I got my steaks from Culina. At first, I wanted to go down to Liang Court to get the Wagyu, but since I am in Culina, let's be lazy and get two steaks from there. One is the 400 days grain fed aged beef, and the other one is just premium Wagyu. By the way, I just learned how to cook steak few weeks ago!
Mean while, Boon Ching is cooking the Turkey. Looks very nice and tasty.
All the presents are wrapped and placed under the Christmas tree.
Curious auntie Amanda trying to ask where does the bread come from, where do you buy the olive oil, etc etc. (I don't know what they are talking about actually, and why Amanda's eye is so big...)
Jay Jay is busying teaching uncle Terrence and uncle Edwin what is BeyBlades.
Of course, there is always a real Christmas tree at the Liew's Mansion. :)
Terrence and Justin and the Christmas tree.
Then, Amanda jumped in.
Then, Jay Jay jumped in.
The Teng's gave me a ice bucket as a present. And we may need to use it today. That is why, I may need to open up my present before the Christmas day comes. :)
Mean while, Jay Jay is playing his Korean toy. And he is getting very creative. He can now build a sort of machine truck.
The less expensive steak - lesser quality steak is marinated with Chinese Red Wine Yeast sauce with black pepper and sea salt. :)
This is a nice shot of Mommy asking food from Justin. HaHaHaHaHa
Everyone seems to be hungry. Let's make a quick disk. Insalata Caprese made with Buffalo Mozzarella cheese. Yummy... with Basilic Olive Oil...
Of course, cheese, buscuits, berries will always be on the table.
The ham is finally here.
The guests are not here yet. Let's cook a piece of steak anyway.
I am glad all of them love my steak. HaHa... anyway, I will be learning the real french way of cooking steak the next day. This is a production before learning.
This year, auntie Wendy was crowned the best iPhone photo tagger. :)
As usual, the steak has to be tagged and uploaded to facebook, before we can eat. By the way, let's also open the wine to drink too.
Edwin is approving the photo. If the photo is approved, it will be uploaded on facebook. :)
This year, the Teng's brought along a huge baked honey Ham.
We have some sushi too.
Salad.
Jay, looking at the food, you must be hungry!
More veggies...
Look at the fatty fat from my humble steak.
Amanda is busy tagging the photo again.
As usual, the food is fabulous!
The two gals really competiting with each other... see who can tagged and post it on facebook first.
Of course, we got one professional photographer Camera here...
So, we don't lack of photographers this year!
Mean while, in the playroom, Caleb is flying his plane.
As usual, the guys are chit chating about work, life, cars and ... etc...
Uncle Edwin claimed that he has reduced 5KG. This photo seems to be the proof. Face is less rounder. Surprisingly, this year, it is the ladies who is caught using iPhone most of the time...
Let the feast begin.
Food looks really fantastic!!
Chit chat... Eat ... Chit Chat ... where is all the wine?
Mean while, the daddy is feeding KT.
Kay Kay suddenly appears. And then, he lie down on uncle James' right side, and instantly the beer belly exposed.
Tonight is white wine night. We opened only white wines tonight.
Look at how fast the turkey is finishing. I think we bought a smaller turkey this year!
Ah... the candle light dinner table, featuring Danielle and Justin.
Jay Jay & Auntie Mel
Amanda, Melissa and KT!
Auntie Melissa trying to use my wine opener pin hole pump. Too bad, commented by Amanda "The cork is too long, that is why cannot pump!" HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa That's a good one.
Danielle: What are you eating?
I am glad every one is enjoying the food!
We have 6 kids in this group of friends.
Yes, Mr. Kay.
After drinking 3 bottles the same wine. It is nice to have something different! A very aromatic wine.
And it is just nice for the Tou Hua.
Also we have the fruit cake.
And the log cake too.
Let's prepare new glasses for the dessert wine.
OK. Let Melissa try to open the second time. Opps... again, the Cork is way too long.
Terry can't stop smiling and laughing at the "long cork".
The dessert wine tonight.
Aiyo... the iPhone gal taking facebookphoto again!
The dessert wine is just perfect for the tou hua, log cake and fruit cake.
Surprisingly, this year, this party, we openned 7 bottles of white wines. I think 8-9 years ago, the same gang broke the record of 16 bottles. But then, it was 3-4 bottles for many years. But this year, every one has a very good appetite, and hence, 7 bottles has been openned.
Auntie Laurel and auntie Amanda.
Constance and her daughter - Danielle.
The Ooi's.
The three companies, watching the fish and the prawns in the tank.
Danielle by daddy. Nice smile.
The night has not ended yet! It's time for Saboteur 2.
Everyone learning the game.
And we have commercial break. Boon Ching came out and selling her Korean juice. Stay still, I am taking the photo.
Ok. This is way too much. What's that character card again?
This guy play the card game during his reservist camp last week with another 7 army boys.
No No No, I am not gambling!
Concern look. Will I lost?
Don't worry dear, I be your wing man. You won't lose.
The are you sure look.
Another commercial break. The Boon Ching now bring out the tea pot.
I must say, it is a fun game!
Mean while, Justin is lying ont he road carpet.
We all really have fun today. And Merry Christmas!
