This is his Destiny ...

Date: Aug 7, 2012

Today was one of the exciting day for us. It was our only ballot day for enrolling Jay into Nan Hua Primary School. This is the chance we promise to give Jay Jay. And we did give him a chance. It's 16 Vs 63 candidates.

One interesting thing that was said by one of the board member from the school during the balloting event is quite true.

All Primary schools are the same standard as far from MOE standards. It is the parents that sent their kids to tuitions and enrichment class that makes them different and excel in their school. The real challenge and the real show color phase is during the secondary school.

9am. The balloting starts. Each time the ball came out the odds changes and getting harder. Within 27 minutes, the list of 16 successful balloted students came out. Jay was not on it.

And all his classmates (those in 2C) also did not get in too. I can see a lot of disappointed parents especially those that failed the balloting for both 2B (volunteer) and 2C. Well that is life. If you compare to those Permanent Residence, they will cried out because all four schools in Clementi should be fully booked after phase 2CS. Haha

The boy's destiny has been decided some what...

He will need a good master to teach him. Some one like...

May the force be with Jay Jay in phase 2CS. It will be Pei Tong. And hopefully we won't need to ballot in this last school within 2KM. :)
