Picnic @ Botanical Garden

We love picnic!

The correct way to do a picnic, is you must have a picnic basket.  Having said that, of course, the picnic basket must have food.  Lot's of food.  See, we got own made bread, tomatoes & grapes, egg sandwiches, even moon cakes, and lots of biscuits, etc.

Thank you Jay Jay for making the sandwiches.  Always remember, do not force the kids to go picnic.  They must be willing to do so 100% of their own will.  Then, it will be more fun!  They will help out in the preparation work!

We grew our own veggies, so, we used them on the sandwiches.

It is important to have a trolley.  Because with it, the man won't complaint.  HaHaHa….  The picnic basket goes in here.

Don't forget to bring their bikes or scooter… It's going to be a fun picnic day.

If you have portable chairs, bring it!  It's useful for the kids… Also the floor mat very important.  I think we bought this floor mat from Japan.

Don't forget their binoculars… It's fun to watch the birds… watch the far far away thingy...

As for the adults… bring DSLR.  Take good photos… This is my first time, learning how to take photos with DSLR too.  See, how did I do?

When you are at Botanical garden, you can do a lot of things.  Kicking football is one fun!

It's fun day.  And we went home and take a long nap before we come out in the evening again.

Concert by The Park

It was a lovely evening, where the Tangs invited us to Botanical Garden for a picnic and listen to a Piano Concert.

We all are very excited about this picnic, as this is one of the things that I have promised my wife to bring her, i.e. something like Ballade under the Moon small outdoor concert/performing arts.

She wore a red/pink gown that night for the outdoor performance.  And I learned who is Chopin.  HaHaHaHa

This is Justin sitting there playing the huge orange ball.

Kay Kay also showed his big smile on his face.  He loves to come to park, and run on the grass.  It is an enjoyment for him.

So as the big boy Jay Jay.  He is amaze with so many people here.

The women and kids set up the picnic area.  Where are the men?

The performance will take place here.  The piano has already been set up there.  We are sitting quite some distance away.  And the loud speaker is powerful enough I think.

Yeah, right.  You suppose to kick the ball.  Not holding the ball.

After the milk, I got lots of power.  See me kick!

For once, escape from the busy streets, come down to Botanical Garden, enjoy the freshness of the trees, grass, etc.  Bring some healthy food, and enjoy the picnic there.  And of course, we got to thank the beautiful weather that evening.  Not hot at all, but it would be great if there are more windy.  :)

Oh ya, it was so uncool to go picnic without a picnic basket.  So, the women were talking about it.  And next day, they met up at Arab street and Boon Ching got ourselves a picnic basket.  The Tangs also got a new picnic basket too (Don't have their basket picture).
