Jay Jay went to a Clay workshop with Mr. Chew.  Together with Lukas, Louis and their mommy, Cheryl.  

Mr. Chew is my wife teacher.  That is why sometimes during near mid-night, funny sounds come out from my kitchen washing area.  HaHaHa

The aim is to learn how to make things you like with Clay.  So, they have to use their finger to do the clay figuring.

It is a two days work shop.  The second day, they colour their clay.

It was fun for the boys and mommy.  

The following is Jay Jay's product.  Very crude by 似摸似样.

A yellow one and his name outside.

A green one.

A tank.

I like this one.  The rabbit.

The rabbit suppose to sit on a tank.  He says.

Jay Jay is proud of producing these clays products.  

His friends Lukas, Louis and their mommy made these.  But unfortunately, during transportation going home, they dropped all the three tigers.

Kay Kay Play Clay

It was 9pm in the afternoon.  I was working on the LWPS photos and videos.  And surprisingly, I did not hear any kids noise in the background.  I opened the kids room and found out that Jay Jay has knocked out and slept on his bed almost long while ago.  But where is Kay Kay?

A peep at the kitchen washing area… There he is...

He is making his clay toy...

No No No… of course is not these.  These are made by my wife.

What are you doing Kay Kay?

I am making Clay.

Jay Jay the Clay Maker

If you remember Jay Jay making his clay production at Clay-street.com (August 6, 2011) ...

This is the before clay creation before the firing ...

And today, mommy went to picked up his ready product.  Wow, after firing, not bad at all.

Teacher Mr. Chew says Jay Jay is creative for his age.

Mel Mel died.  So, Jay Jay make a statue of Mel Mel.

Wow.  Nice cat.

Always expose your kids to new things.  Observe whether they like it or not?  If they like it, expose more.  Bring them to see and feel the arts.  If they don't like it.  Try something else.

It is not normal to make something out from your mind.  So, look at the creation of Mel Mel.  It does has a shape of a cat, with a happy face.  That is how my kid remember Mel Mel.

I don't know what is the first one, where does that come about.  Looks like a tree monster.  :)

What is Jay Jay doing early in the morning on the national day?

"I am making my clay"

Oh... he is playing with Mommy's clay.  So, I think he is going to create some art piece.

Oh, some of the left over clays from Mommy clay work room.

Is this an animal?  Girraffe? perhaps?

Looks like mommy is going to make some clay pots...

Many years ago, my wife learned to make clay arts from Mr. Chew from Boon's Art @ Tanglin Mall.  Now, Mr. Chew open his open workshop at Clay-Street.Com @ Commenwealth Drive here.

So, my wife brought Jay Jay there.  It is a very fun thing to do. Especially when you use your imagination to make things you like to make.

You can see how focus your kid have in making arts.

For Jay, he made all these and he is very proud.  He made a tree creature.  And today, he gets to color all these clays.

Not so artistics, but he sure have lots of fun creating it especially keep talking at the same time. hahaha
