Because the king was once a monk here.

IMG 3595

It has some nice temple for photos.

Its huge.  Children can run around.

And it is good for photographers.  Chester is a photographers.  So I asked Thomas where to go to take photos and kids still can have fun.  Here it is.

The royal crest indicates that this place is protected by the king.

The king is once a monk here.

The Buddha scripts are all here.

A lot of scripts.

Jay and Conrad try to be funny.  Selling chips that they cannot eat (dropped to the floor).

I think this is Rama 9.

This should be Rama 5.  I think.

Kids having fun together.

A monk.

Some highly rank monk.

The ceiling.

Natural lights.

Temple of Marble Pali Canon.

Here is the store that we going to stop by.

The kids going to be freak out soon.

IMG 3598

Tour Guide, Thomas bought a lot a lot of bread and fish food.

IMG 3600

Let's start to feed.

IMG 3601

Another monument.

IMG 3613

Jay and Kay enjoying the view.

IMG 3618

And here goes the fish feeding.  The fish are huge.  And no one can fish in this pond as it is a Holy Pond.

So as you can see the laughter from kids's face.

Usually, if you come on your own, or tour, you will not get to come here.  You have to customised your tour in order to get here.  hahaha

And I am glad we were here as this is one of the great spot that our kids feeds different kinds of fish.  hahaha

Bangkok: Bussaracum - A fine Dinning

Date:  June 30, 2013

When you travel with kids, it is hard to eat at a very nice restaurant.  But in this trip, we did it once.  Thanks to our tour guide, we have a chance to eat at this restaurant, Bussaracum.  He said, this is a fine dinning place, where they have excellent thai food, but at the half price of Blue Elephants.  I don't think I have ever eaten at Blue Elephants before.  So I do not know what is Thai Fine Dinning, except the one in Tanglin Mall.

IMG 3581

This is the restaurant.

IMG 3556

This is their signature dish.

IMG 3559

In no time, every one sapu all the food.  But the main point is to look at the plate made of banana leafs.  Nice.

IMG 3569

This is appetiser.  Very very nice.  Taste like nasi lemak samba, but have lots of neat little things inside.

IMG 3557

The salad is server this way.  This is north east thailand - isshan food.  The salad sauce is very nice.

IMG 3570

The rice cookies for the kids.

IMG 3560

Kay Kay is eating.  Good.  Got to make sure of that.  And he is sitting by himself with Jay Jay at the children table.

IMG 3562

This is the signature dish we just saw.  All taste very nice and unique.

IMG 3563

Before they prepare our tom yam soup.  They let every one taste a bit of the soup.  So we can decide what to do, add more salt?  less spicy?  etc etc.  Mine is just fine.  and the Tom Yam Soup is really nice.

IMG 3564

Let's check out the kids, there are talking to each other, playing and laughing.  And the food are served there too.

IMG 3566

At the adult table, all food almost arrived.

IMG 3578

Pamelo salad.  Quite spicy.

IMG 3571

This is squid I think.  But I love the two little eggs there.

IMG 3572

This is green curry eating with the rice noodles there.

IMG 3573

I love this giant prawn rice noodles… very nice.

IMG 3574

IMG 3575

The three eggs salad.  Hmmmm… interesting prawn salad.

IMG 3576

We have the rendand too.  Together with some roti prats.

IMG 3577

Let's check out the kids.  There are still happy.

IMG 3568

Lastlly we ordered 5 desserts.  This mango sticky rice is not as good as the one I had in Sompong. But it is OK.

IMG 3582

This is nice.

IMG 3583

So, all of us had a very satisfy meal.  The bill come up slightly lesser than 10,000 Baht.  4 Family splits the bill.  Each family pay 2,500 baht.  So, it is about SGD$115 for each family.  We have 16 people (inclusive of tour guide where we invited him to join us, and 7 kids).  It is a wonderful treat, and we had one of the most delicious meals.

Bangkok: I am freaking Scared of Tigeere !

Date:  June 30, 2013

I posted this photo that day.  And a lot of people, even my wife thought it is a green screen photo and photoshop the tigers on it.

IMG 3631

HaHaHaHa… Of course NO.

I got chance to take video for the second team, Alicia & Conrad who is brave to take photos with the tigers.  Take a look.

Yes, these are the two "tame" tigers.  Real.  As you see, the heavy chain are around their neck.  And I am sure they cannot stand up because of the chain.  I think… I am sure they cannot turn around too because of the chain.  That is why we are dare to go forward.  hahahaha

It is not easy to overcome the fear.  But we did it.

Look at Kay Kay eyes… He still eating something, but don't dare to swallow.  hahahaha

Let's take another photos.

It is so thrill.

Conrad the animal lovers of course is brave enough to take this photo.

Close up shot!

OK.  The tiger still OK.  Third team, where are you?

Justin & Jayden's daddy is going to freak out.  hahahaha his son taking photos with the tigers.  hahahaha

Esther's mom seems very happy.  Taking photos behind a real tigers.  I am so scare that these kids steps on the Tiger's tail.  hahhaha

I kept reminding every one of them not to do so.  HaHaHaHa

So there you go, our greatest achievement.  Taking photos with the tigers.

This is a very small zoo, lesser visitors, that is why we got the chance to do so much here.  Thanks our tour guide for brining us here.  hahaha
