Kay Kay @ Lorna Whiston

Date:  Dec 17, 2011

We sent Kay Kay to Lorna Whiston when he turns 18 months (back in March).  This is his story at the school.  Oh ya, we sent him to full day class.  Better this way.

IMG_6084.jpg

The school feeds him bread and biscuits.  This is where he learned how to eat with his friends.

IMG_9267.JPG

It is about learning some new skills.  Like puttiong a ring onto the cone.

IMG_0295.JPG

Exercising with a tricycle.

IMG_0324.JPG

I guess Peppet show is always the kids favorite.  Kids at this age does not understand fully what story you are telling.  But, they enjoy it.

IMG_0334.JPG

Of course, water play is fun time to get yourself wet.

IMG_0361.JPG

They also have a sand play timing at Lorna Whiston.

IMG_0390.JPG

Reading the story books together can be fun.  Especially those that you can touch and spin.

IMG_0398.JPG

They can't play basketball at this age.  But they can certainly pass the ball.

IMG_0400.JPG

Learning Disciplin is part of the routine.  Everyone get into the circuit now!

IMG_0498.JPG

Ok.  He wanted to be a goal keeper.

IMG_0504.JPG

First taste of pop corns.  Learning how to chew it.

IMG_0034.JPG

Having good motor skills is one thing they must learn in school.

IMG_0314.JPG

Driving a car is not a must, but it is a nice skill to have too.

IMG_0361 (2).JPG

OK.  So far so good.  I am happy!

IMG_1483.JPG

thanks Chen Lao-shi and Miss Jocelyn for taking good care of the pre-school playgroup.

IMG_2031.JPG

Did I mentioned about the outings?  Lots of them.

IMG_3125.JPG

OK.  This must be a mistake!

IMG_3364.JPG

How can I be a butterfly?  How can I be a fairy?

IMG_3366.JPG

As time past, my driving skill improved.

IMG_5863.jpg

So as my bicycle skill.

IMG_5879.JPG

My daddy always tell me to have a big smile on my face.

IMG_6087.jpg

Even when you turn around, you still need to continue laughing and smiling.

IMG_6089.jpg

Looks a bit concern.  But no problem, let's cllimb.

IMG_6291.JPG

OK.  It's Singapore Day!

DSCN0198.JPG

You have to paint a flag on your face!

DSCN0208.jpg

I am in Jacob Ballas this time!  It is a children botanical garden, you know.

IMG_7911.JPG

Selamat Hari Raya!

IMG_8252.jpg

Oh, I love Hari Raya cookies!

IMG_8284.jpg

Where you going this time?  Zoo?

IMG_9009.JPG

IMG_9153.jpg

OK.  This is hard.  Why do we have to bring the egg in a spoon?

IMG_2600.JPG

So that you can paint the egg!

DSCN0263.JPG

Or learn how to peel the egg.

DSCN0310.JPG

Eee. What is this?

DSCN0421.JPG

Oh... it is soup.  I like.

DSCN0430.JPG

Let's picnic!

IMG_1110.JPG

I sure have fun in my first year at Lorna Whiston!

Updates on Cheryl Shuen Birthday Cake

Date:  Aug 18, 2011

It's Kay Kay 2 Years Old Birthday cake.

IMG_9487.jpg

This is the fifth cake we ordered from Cheryl Shuen.

IMG_9484.JPG

It's a lovely cake.  It has gone thru a few designs, as the original designed is too high priced.  So, we finally settled with this simple design.  Kay's mom drew a complicated design to Cheryl and it has to build in two layers in the first design, and that will cost a bomb.

IMG_5642.JPG

I am glad Kay Kay like this cake.  Not sure why Kay Kay suddenly felt in love with Mickey Mouse.

IMG_5718.JPG

According to the teachers, the cake is delicious, as some how the kids love to eat and all of them finished their cake today.  I tasted it, and yes, the chocholate cake is quite nice, and not too sweet.  And the teachers like it too as the cake does not drop out, and the taste is nice.  Used to be sweet, but this year, the cake is just fine.  Good for the kids... :)

Cherylshuen is now at 268, Joo Chiat Rd.

Here is our previous cake... Jay's 4th year old Shinkansen & ANA Airplane cake.

Kay's 1st year - Lightning McQueen Car cake.
