Ukulele & The Boys

Today, I bought a Ukulele for Jay Jay.

He said he wanted to learn.  

The size is slightly smaller than mine.  And it is made in China.  So the quality may not be good compare to mine.

Let's tune it.

Cool!  It comes with "Teach Yourself To Play Ukulele".

And let's start teaching him C & F cord.  And the D-D-D-D strumming and the D-DU-DU-DU strumming.

He seems to love it.

My problem came when the young one also want to learn.  

After testing both the ukulele.  Jay Jay is more comfortable with my ukulele.  So, I let him use mine.

As for Kay Kay, he shall have the new ukulele.

 OK.  Let's hear it!  Jay & his first try on Ukulele...

What do you do with your kid before they go to bed?

I took a very nice video without him knowing I am recording that precious moment.  There you see that Jay Jay is very focus in playing his puzzle game on the iPad.  And then, I played my Ukulele at the background, and sing some oldies.  And guess what, our Jay Jay sings along.  And it is amazing how kids at this age has some much memorizing power.  He can almost remember the songs.  Here is a youtube of him singing along with me on 周华建‘s 朋友 and 邓丽君’s 月亮代表我的心...
