A Reunion Dinner - 30 Years Later

Facebook is amazing! After 30 years of no sound no music, all these Primary schoolmates found each other on Facebook, and the first reunion party in Singapore is held yesterday.

All these people were in the same class in 6A.

李家强 (4th row, 8th from the right)，杨垂强 (4th row, 8th from the left)，陈安妮 (2nd row, first on the right)，史玫瑰 (2nd row, 4th from the right)，吴爱雯 (3rd row, 4th from the right)，廖翔云 (4th row, 2nd from the left)，廖兆誌 (4th row, 6th from the left)，张怀中 (4th row, 3rd from the right).

Of course, some people changed a lot... i.e. 廖翔云 (I am glad 翔云 is here).

And most people still stay in the same shape with minor delta.

Everybody had a big smile on their face.

Ivy brought even more memory to us.  I didn't know I can write English at that time.  HaHa

Then, we run the youtube on the TV.  And it's funny.  That's our MC.

Of course... there is someone else we wish to thank...

Back in 1982, there isn't many camcorder in the market.  So, we also are very lucky to have Fiann Yong Hwee Yan (杨荟燕) whose father is the official video shooting for the Foon Yew Primary School (2) Graduation Ceremony.  And thanks to the hardwork of Fiann, we have the following footages.  For kids of today, this is nothing.  But for people like us, it meant a lot, as those footage are very memoriable.

I Last Seen Her 13 Years Ago…

Almost 20 years ago, I can still remember this relative of "苏记" Chinese Groceries Stores and Restaurant at St. John's Newfoundland.  All of us, the foreigner students in Memorial University of Newfoundland becomes friends.  Lots of outings together.  All those memories.  Nice and fun!  Since we graduate, we only met once or twice which is 13 years ago.  I am glad that she visited Singapore, and our kids have some fun time together.  So after our lunch @ Long Beach East Coast Park, we spent about 2 hours at Polliwogs, a kids playground.  According to Loisa, in Hong Kong, there is not many such "public" playground for kids.  Most of them are clubs.

The Balls

I covered my eyes, you cannot see me.

This is a green crystal ball.

I don't like blue balls, let's squash it!

The Guns

And Yanni got the helm of the gun station.

And Jay & Yanni begun to shoot rubber balls.

She seems to have lots of fun handling the machine gun.

She seems to lock on to a target...

Oh... Daddy staring at her.  "Who shoot the rubber balls at me?"

She said "Opps! Sorry Daddy!"

Yanni seems to be very happy playing with the machine gun.

Keep shooting her daddy and me.

And my son is helping her by keep going up and down to pick up the rubber bullets.
