Some skills that follow you lifetime

There are some skills set that you have acquired long time ago will definitely follow you forever. Such as cooking...

When I went to school in Canada, I was poor then. So, I cannot afford to eat in the restaurant or food court everyday. The cheapest way to survive, is to cook for yourself. Buying the raw meat and vegetables was cheap. But most importantly, cook something that you like to eat is the main objective.

I live together with a few other class mates of mine. I hated washing the dishes, so, I volunteer to cook for everyone. It was then, I developed the unbelievable cooking skill. Just imagine Everyday cook for 5-7 people, cook 4-5 dishes and soup within 45 minutes, and develop the skills of creating new dishes, and without compromising the taste.... I got to thank all those people who give comments to my cooking style....

It was a great day, I went home early today and decided to cook for the family. 15 minutes on the chopping board to prepare the Ingredients, 25 minutes to cook the dishes, and viola... 3 dishes and 1 soup today...

All taste very nice, you know it when your son ate 3 bowl of rice without talking... Means he likes the food a lot... And I feel very good about it.

Got to thanks Mr. Yan can cook... The TV cooking show that I watch early morning, it was the technique you learn from him... And then the rest is your talent and creativity... Most importantly, once you possess the basic cooking skill, you don't rely anymore on the recipe... And just mix and match, trial and error, and error correction...

I think I really enjoy cooking very much... Bring back so much memory... Hahahah
