Christmas Tree 2010 (Part 1)

It is the festive season again... Its time to shop for our Christmas tree...

As usual, we book a tree almost a month ago... and the trees shipments always arrived on the Friday... We always bought the tree from Far East Flora.  And this year, we pay an extra $30 for the disposal of tree after the Christmas.

We decided on a Noble Fir this year.  We wanted a 7ft-8ft tree.  It will be our first tree in block 10.  Since the ceiling is much higher, so, we buy taller tree.

Choosing a tree must always see the tree from different angle... It has to be even, nice, and looks firm.

We finally choose this one... Can't wait for them to unwrap every new tree... :(

And Jay gets to see the tree being wrapped!  Using this... and we are lucky that the tree fits into our 307SW.

Since this is probably our 8th tree (years), we already have tons of experience in how to transport the tree home.. so no problem mo there.. hahaha

See Jay Jay is having fun... too bad, baby Kay has to sleep and could not see the tree tonight... but he gets to smell the fresh tree smell the next day...

Next, we need to figure out how to push the tree into the lift...

No problem mo there too... all into the lift...

Let's place the tree at the usual location...

And very important, to keep the tree fresh, the tree HAS TO DRINK COLD WATER... so, from time to time, you must feed ICE to the tree...

IMG_2294.jpg

Err... I meant feed the tree like this... just add the ICE into the water on daily basis...

Now we can unwrap the tree....

And let the tree settle into your house...

Remember, let the tree choose its owner.. hahahahahahahahahaha can make a good wand later .. you know... hahaha

Getting late... let's have a nice sleep and then figure out what to do and what theme we want...
