Spring Carnival 2012

Yesterday, the kids had their most wonderful time at the Lorna Whiston Spring Carnival 2012. This is the big party organized by the pre-school every year around the Easter time. Jay & Kay have been their full-day students since 18 months of age. So, they knew all the teachers there, they knew all the students there, be it morning or afternoon classes.

The rain has not been kind since 6AM in the morning. It was pouring. We were 30 minutes early. Not many people there. But it turns out to be great later.

First station is the fishing game. The game is designed to test their motoskill.

Second station is the catch the mice game. Again, once you catch the mouse, you have to carefully bring the mouse to a bucket.

This is Kay Kay first time playing the game, I think he is having lots of fun!

That's Clare, Conrad and Jay Jay. They are in the same K2, but they purposely separated the noisy Jay and Conrad to different class. HaHa...

As usual, Jay Jay tries to be funny. "Hello hello! Anyone home?"

Next, it is the Breakfast Jam and Cheese table.

This is Jay Jay's entry for the drawing competition. Although he did not win, but he had lots of fun producing it. It's OK la. I see the judges did stay a bit longer time there looking at these few drawings.

OK. You eat my bread, and you must give me a big kiss, the WeiLu teacher says. This is also the day where parents get all these small small little info about how your kids behaves in school from all the teachers. Fun and nice.

Oh... That is 李老师's Curry Chicken stall. Me and Jay Jay helped to design and produce the sign board.

I got to tell you, the curry chicken is so nice! I ate the whole bowl.

The school must have checked the weather for today. That is why the tent is extra ordinary huge that they can even place a Jumping Castle inside.

All the kids is waiting to jump inside the Jumping Castle.

Is this toss the coins game?

This year, there is this second hand stall. It is all parents' contribution. Wow, an old golf set.

This year, the K2 class will have to cook Apple Jam. And make the Apple Jam bottle.

And Jay Jay found his Jam bottle. Of course, we bought it. We bought 4 bottles of Apple Jams. He called it Criss Cross Apple Jam. Not sure what is the reason.

High quality face painting stall.

The face paint stall run by Ms. Joy and other teachers and parents. Ms. Joy is drawing a spider man face mask.

Take a look at Aiden. The snake on his face, and the snake mouth is his mouth. HaHaHaHa Well done!

Ping Pong ball shooter gun. OK, we do not promote violence at home, so there is not a single gun or knife or any kind of weapon at home. The clueless Jay Jay wanted to play, but don't know how and was hoping he can learn from Conrad. Conrad seems to know how to play. hahaha
